Anyone else having trouble regulating their body temp? at night in particular?

I can go from roasting to freezing in less than 2 minutes. it it is driving me nuts. And I know that its not my thyroid as I had it checked.

My family: me jog.gif, dh geek.gif, ds reading.gif (11), dd1 hearts.gif (9), and dd2 energy.gif(3).

Tout va s'arranger à la fin. Si elle ne fonctionne pas; ce n'est pas la fin.

yes, yes yes! I told my mom that I think I"m having hot flashes just like her.

I'll be just fine one moment and then be shaking from cold the next. I googled it and it said that it was normal and caused by hormones. What isn't these days!

I'm more like Julia...cold all the time. With my first pregnancy I had terrible hot flashes throughout, and would break out in sweats. I think it's all hormonal, not actual temperature regulation.

One thing to watch for...I had gestational diabetes with my first, and noticed a pattern with the sweats...so keep that in mind and consider monitoring your blood sugars.

this is me! waking up in the night either burning up or freezing. mine isn't just at night though, often i have to take my jacket off when i'm out running errands because i become overwhelmed with my 'hot flashes'... at work i'm constantly taking my sweater off and putting it back on to regulate my temperature. i've just asssumed it was a hormonal thing

Oh gosh! I'm so afraid of GD... I wonder if this is a sign that I have it.
