I hadn't thought of that.....I'll finally have a baby tiny enough to put in one of those little baby bunting costumes - how cute!

I had a baby last year in September. I was too tired and lazy to dress them up. I even had an outfit I could use. I just didn't see the point and didn't want the hassle. Baby costumes are so adorable, though.

Sadly I don't think my big kids would accept that rationale - but in all reality I'll probably just take a picture of the baby in the costume and then dh and I will tag team trick or treat, yk? It's often FREEZING here by halloween!

I think this year's halloween will have to be just a daddy and son date.
Mommy and the little one might opt to stay home.

That's a wonderful thing to think about! They're going to look so cute in their costumes!

Married to my perfect match since July 2007 and joyfully expecting our first sometime around September 23rd!:

yeah, same here. It's usually not too cold by that time of year but I doubt I'll be taking a tiny baby outdoors like that. My DD was 5 mos old when her first halloween rolled around and I didn't take her, left her home with DH while I took my son that year. I always get weird about sleep schedules when they're little. I don't wanna mess with that.

Proud *single* mom to 3 amazing kiddos

Thank you for that wonderful image! I had not thought about that at all and am now so excited! I saw this adorable pumpkin outfit about 4 years ago that I didn't buy because I had no one to buy it for, and now I know I can go out and find something just as cute for my LO!

S, wife to M, missing my angel baby (May 2009) and just welcomed our son, D, 7 lbs 2 oz, 20.5".

We won't be going trick-or-treating, since this is our first, but I can't wait to dress baby up! I have two little dogs, too, so I'll probably do a theme. Last year the dogs were a ladybug and a butterfly. Once we find out what we're having, I'll really start brainstorming...I'll probably make all three outfits, so I'd like to get them done before the baby is born.

So this is bliss! Proud mama to Katie, born gently at home 10/4/09, wife to my nursing student hubby (LPN down, RN here we come!), and coming in September....Katie's little brother!

ilovejeff -- we took DS "trick or treating" just to show him off at 5 months old and the dogs came too

never too early plus its so visual and fun for them, i think........
