So I had an ultrasound today at the local pregnancy clinic. The baby looks really good and has a heart rate of 120, and they turned on the sound so I could hear the heartbeat. I almost cried. The baby measured 6 weeks 4 days, which changes my due date to 10/19.

I am glad for the change because the more days I can put between this baby's birth and my son's, the better. I'm aiming to be late so they'll be 14 months apart isntead of 13, but I don't think I'll go quite that late.

Talk about coincidences... I had the exact same morning as you! I had my ultrasound and saw the heartbeat and my baby measured 6wk4days also! They kept my due date of 10/18 which was based off of my last period since it was only one day off from where the baby measured. Sounds like we're right in line! I didn't get to hear the heartbeat yet, though, just saw it... and they didn't tell me how fast the heart was beating - only that it was really strong. Exciting! Congrats to you!!
