Just went to the doctor....I should be almost 7 weeks and there was only a sac. No fetal pole etc... This seems to be a pattern for me. Now I get to schedule a D and C.

Happy and Healthy 9 months to you all.

are you sure your not just getting your dates wrong?
i really do believe that some babies also devlope a little slower at the start. maybe you could wait a week or 2 and get another u/s?
also, at 7 weeks, there is not a whole lot of tissue, do you really need the D&C? it can creat fertility problems from the scar tissue.

i hope it all works out and goes better, i have had 6 MC so i do somewhat know how you feel. hang in there

Hugs mama!

Please PLEASE check out the www.misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com/ website MANY women don't see anything until much further along and go on to have totally healthy pregnancies. I do not want to falsely get your hopes up but 7 weeks is MUCH too early to schedule a D&C due to no fetal pole.

Dawn, mama to D (3.06) & N (9.07) C (11.09) & Still-in-shock surprise due in Aug!

I agree. I've had three children, and at 7 weeks there was nothing there except a sac (with all three).

Sorry to hear. I'd consider what pp are saying about late development and wait a bit. Maybe you can do some HCG tests every few days to see if the numbers are dropping or raising. It's something I'd try. Especially if you've had no spotting or anything.
If it is a miscarriage, maybe you will start cleansing on your own, it would be better I'd think.
