I had an u/s on Tuesday, and the heartbeat was 118. Is that okay? I thought it was supposed to be higher. I just looked up on a website that said the normal rate is 110 to 180, so it's in the range, but I would feel better if it was more in the middle of the range...

The website also said that as pregnancy progresses the heart rate slows, so that also makes me feel like the heartrate should be faster now...

Your baby was just chillin' (or taking a nap)!!!

Don't worry that's a good one!

Don't worry to much.
When I had an 8 week ultrasound with my DS his heart rate was 100 and the ultrasound tech was even worried.
He is now a happy healthy 2 YO

This baby's heart rate was 118 also at 6w2d or so. Kaiden's heartrate was 119 at 6w5d. I found that at first the heart rate is slower and then as you progress it gets faster and faster to a certain point. Towards the end my baby's have both been about 130 or so.
