I discovered that chip truck french fries are not a nice thing to throw up especially when they end up in your nose. I also don't enjoy throwing up spaghetti.
Anything anyone else is avoiding eating certain things because they don't want to throw it up?

Rhubarb - I had the stringy things for two days coming out my nose or down my throat.....

Besides that - somehow anything gets stuck in my nose, but most stuff comes down quickly again. The more acidic the more it burns.

Mom since Oct'09. Wife to a loving husband. Expecting a little bean in May'12

This reminds me of the advice my former pastor's wife would give all the newly pregnant women in the congregation: Both saltines and graham crackers taste fine going down, but graham crackers are better coming up.

The vitamins are the worst thing I've thrown up, and I throw them up quite a bit lately, even if I take them with food. I've been taking them with a dollop of ice cream to try and mask the taste as they come back up.

I can't stand throwing up lettuce. ick. And, for some reason no matter how much water I drink, whenever I vomit it comes up like... almost dry or something. Like, solid. sorry, gross.

and I second the vitamins. They taste horrendous going down and worse coming back up.

Dried fruit chews.
Spaghetti/any pasta really - seconded.
Dairy - seconded.
I guess I'm lucky, most of mine have been after drinking a whole glass of water or something, and that liquid seems to make it easier, with less up my nose.

I'm kind of an expert puker, though - I've had migraines since I was 6. The worst ever to throw up was spaghettio's.

I also think it's funny that I've started to think like this, too! "You know, I'm not feeling well. Do I really want to know what this is like later?" And then just eat some graham crackers instead.

Mama to twin boys, Oct-'09 and baby girl, Apri-'12!

Well, I can't think of anything that's pleasant to throw up. I did have a rather difficult experience with apples my first pregnancy. Couldn't eat them for months after that.

Lettuce is painful.

Last weekend I ate a whole bunch of BBQ flavored Kettle chips. That was bad.

This is exactly how I feel lately.
The gross thing is that I actually want the poutine again after having an aweful experience throwing it up.

Me too. I think the chunky things that get stuck up in the back of the nose/throat are most annoying. Because it lingers up there for hours...

@Leewos,

I had hoped it would slow down latest at week12, which I just hit. It got better for a few days, but since 2 days, it is back worse than before.

My mother mentioned she had it until week 16, a friend of mine until will 20. Others just had 2 weeks of queasiness or even nothing at all.

Just hang in there.

Mom since Oct'09. Wife to a loving husband. Expecting a little bean in May'12
