I'll give this a shot.
Oookay, I got totally schooled on this one. I am not quitting my day job to become a psychic.

EDD: Nov. 18th
I predict the baby will be born: December 2nd (full moon, reputed to bring babies forth from the womb)
Actual birth date: Nov 19th

I predict my labor will last: I have no idea...until the baby is born? Ummm, 4 hours of active labor with good positioning, 24 hours with malpositioning?
It actually lasted: First contraction noted about 2:30 or 3 p.m., active labor at about 5 p.m., baby born at about 8 p.m., so I guess I was sorta close on this one. He had awesome positioning, LOA all the way.

We won't see on an ultrasound.
I predict the baby will be a: girl
The baby is a: boy.

I predict the baby's weight and length will be: 8 1/2lb, 20in
Actual weight and length: 9 lbs, 1 oz, 21.5" long (I attribute extra half pound to leftover Halloween candy, followed by DH's birthday cake, followed by my birthday cake). Great. Now from Halloween to Thanksgiving, it will be one non-stop sweets and festivities time in our house. I will have to watch it once I stop breastfeeding.

Possible names: The girl name is ultra-secret and already decided upon. Boy names...if I know DH, he will be pulling for things like Thor, Leif, Hrothgar, old-school Norse and Germanic names that will guarantee the child will be a willful risk-taker.
Actual name: John-Siegfried Parker B., Sigi for short - and it's NOT Ziggy. DH got what he wanted, though I also got what I wanted, which was a name that made reference to his peaceful nature in utero and now. The kid should feel lucky - other names that mean 'peace' or 'peaceful' include Ferdinand and Udo...

Any extra predictions you'd like to make: the dog will hide in the attic if I start making any sort of vocalizations, or he might start howling along with me.
Dog sat on the bed with me during contractions and was a model of noble houndness, and he did not howl. He was in the room when Sigi was born, and now he guards the baby when he sleeps and comes to check on him if he hears a cry.
This baby will be as bald as Charlie Brown until it's a year old.
Nope, he's rockin' a business in the front, party in the back baby mullet.

Doula, WOHM, wife to a super-fun papa, mama to the Monkey ('07), and his little brother, the Sea Monkey ('09).

EDD: I predict the baby will be born: Fri. the 13th (11/13/09)
Actual birth date: Well I was admitted on Fri. 11/13 and then released, lol, so I was close! But he actually came on 11/20.

I predict my labor will last: n/a - scheduled cesarean
It actually lasted: no such luck, scheduled cesarean.

I predict the baby will be a: boy
U/S showed a (if you had one): boy
The baby is a: boy

I predict the babies weight and length will be: 8 lb 6 oz. and 21 in.
Actual weight and length: 8 lb 8 oz and 20 inches! I'm getting good at this, lol...

Possible names: Sitting on the name awhile
Actual name: Brenan Oliver

Any extra predictions you'd like to make: That s/he will have dark hair at birth ***Quite the opposite - he had BLONDE hair at birth!!! A total first for me!!!

...ooO*Ooo*ooO*Ooo...
