I'm glad the bleeding stopped. Will more protein help your placenta? Hope you can get it down okay!

I'm glad your bleeding has stopped. Good luck with upping your protein intake. I've had a hard time with that this week. My big source of protein has been peanut butter and I'm getting a little sick of it now, too!

I can't imagine trying to be on bed rest right now--modified or otherwise. My house would be an absolute disaster. I mean, more than it is now.

Blessings and good health to you and your babe!

Those are great news! Does your midwife think increasing the protein will help with the bleeding?

Mom since Oct'09. Wife to a loving husband. Expecting a little bean in May'12

Yeah, hopefully extra protein will help build up the placenta. I was not even eating enough for a non pregnant person :... Let alone a pregnant and nursing person. Just haven't had an appetite. Tracking it helps me remember to eat it and make sure I get in 100g

Thinking of you, good luck with upping the protein and the modified bed rest.

Sonneva, glad to hear that your bleeding stopped. Ah, protein! It's hard with dietary restrictions. I was vegetarian before I got pregnant, but ate fish with DS and am eating other meats this pregnancy also because I was told by my ND that I am allergic to eggs, beans, and rice. Nuts are good, lentils are good, but after a certain point, I feel like if I ever see another lentil again, I will barf! DH uses it as an excuse to cook bacon...
