Wow, y'all are so organized, reposting your lists with crossed-off items and such!

My mind works best on "random", I think.

In the past two weeks or so, I have:

--washed and organized all the baby clothes, which turned out to be a good-enough stash of 0-3 and 3-6m, ALL donated
--washed and oragnized all my diapers, which also turned out to be "enough" for the NB and S stages
--strung my birth beads on a stretchy bracelet, which I must post pics of cause it's cool
--crocheted a newborn hat!
--found my birth cd from last time, plus started listening to "BellyLove", a meditation cd from my midwives
--borrowed my mom's ironing board and busted out the prenatal yoga dvds--trying to flip this kid back to vertex
--scored a pair of maternity pants that don't cut off my legs when i sit down, a long dress and a long black skirt as well (IOW i won't be hiding at home naked with nothing to wear for the duration of the pregnancy)

I still have to:
--pick up tylenol, honey, chux pads, prune juice, rescue remedy creme, and more nag champa incense, among other things
--write mantras/affirmations
--order baby's mattress

Really I want to buy nursing bras, some sort of baby hammock (or at least batteries for my swing!), I need another set of sheets, another pillow, I never picked up a baby book, I could use a dresser to store baby things in.....blah blah blah we can't afford it.

Mentally I need to chill--I am way too stressed out about baby's position, BH or lack thereof, and just life in general.

DONE:
~Washed the 20 BumGenuis diapers we have (though we just found out my mom just bought us some more! Yeah Mom!)
~Washed newborn & 0-3 clothes we have been given so far (lots of hand me downs, which is great!)
~Painted Nursery
~Enrolled in Childbirth, Parenting, & Breastfeeding classes (they begin this week - update classes are now done, except for the infant CPR certification which is next week)
~Toured L&D, Chose Hospital, Pre-registered with them
~Learning to Knit! (half done with my first pair of booties!- update have now made 3 pairs of booties and a hat!) - just to keep my mind occupied on something enjoyable and not the list of what I have to do

Needs to be Done:
~New Carpet in Nursery (being installed next week)
~Pick out and put together crib
~Make & Freeze Meals for after birth
~Go to Baby Showers (there are two planned for us!)
~Get car seat, get it installed and inspected at fire station
~Pack Hospital Bag
~Buy Nursing Bras
~Finish Birth Plan
~Get my new last name (leagally changed to Bond last week! WooHoo!) actually changed on my Driver's License, Social Security Card, Credit Card, Debit Card, Docs Offices, Insurance, etc...
~Not go crazy with worry (about premature delivery, delayed flights, & idiot customs agents) while DP is out of the country for her brother's wedding at the end of September

I'm sure there's lots more, but my brain is fuzzing on it right this minute!
Needs to be Done:
~New Carpet in Nursery (being installed next week) DONE
~Pick out and put together crib - Half DONE crib has been ordered should be arriving in the next 2 weeks!
~Make & Freeze Meals for after birth DONE - Made crock pot of ham & bean soup, 6 mini meatloafs (basically 2 full size meatloafs), 5 containers of turkey & noodles, and 3 containers of roast pork loin. Also bought easy to make rice meals and soup. SHould be pretty good.
~Go to Baby Showers (there are two planned for us!) - One down, one to go! Though not completely looking forward to the next one as the hostesses have a bunch of games planned ..uggg
~Washed the 12 more BumGenius dipes we got at our last shower. Still Need to wash the clothes we got
~Get car seat, get it installed and inspected at fire station - We got our SnugRide 32 as a shower gift, now it has to be installed and inspected.
~Pack Hospital Bag
~Buy Nursing Bras
~Finish Birth Plan
~Get my new last name (legally changed to Bond last week! WooHoo!) actually changed on my Driver's License, Social Security Card, Credit Card, Debit Card, Docs Offices, Insurance, etc... - DONE, except that I am still waiting for Medicaid to do the name change in their records so I can get my doctor's records changed as well (I have contacted them 3 times with no response!) I'll keep trying but you know how government offices are
~Not go crazy with worry (about premature delivery, delayed flights, & idiot customs agents) while DP is out of the country for her brother's wedding at the end of September - Mostly done, she got there ok and will be home on Monday trying to keep myself busy!

Denyel & Kate Bond - Black Belt Mamas to Dekaylee born 10/29/09 - And parents to our 4-legged family including 1 Dog "Hank", 2 cats "Boris & Ahmi", and 5 Beautiful Alpacas!!

Ugh. I haven't actually taken the time to make a list. Mostly out of denial, I think. So this is probably incomplete and will need to be addended.

Set up Baby's room (in progress)
Buy bedding for crib (chosen, not bought)
Hang real blinds in Ds's room (he moved rooms for Baby)
Transfer Ds's clothes out of Baby's room
Finish organizing Ds's new room/toys
Put toys with small pieces higher up (to get into habit for Baby)
Organize cloth diapers and baby supplies
Wash baby gowns and newborn clothes
Organize baby clothes in drawers and closet
Buy lanolin and lanolize wool covers
Buy diaper pail and liners
Install car seat bases into cars
Pack bag
Make music mix for IPOD
Clean carpets ?
Buy 36 nb prefolds
Buy some Kissaluvs 0 fitteds
Buy assorted other cloth diapers
Prep prefolds
Buy wool covers (I should still get a couple more "good" soakers, though)
Buy travel wet bags
Set up bassinet for bedroom
Buy Amby hammock (love Craigslist!)
Buy Moby
Buy Chunei

Maybe get a Mei Tai sometime?
Wash ds's nb gender neutral gowns/clothes
Buy a few gowns and baby girl clothes on sale
Register and hope people buy a few things off of it!

Essentials to buy for baby:
Arm's Reach Mini co-sleeper
Swing or bouncy chair
Boppy cover

Essentials to buy for birth:
Birth pool and stuff that goes with it (hose, adapter, pump, etc)
Underpads
Towels and extra sheets from Goodwill
Some sort of sports bra or swimming suit top

Things for after the birth:
Peri bottle
pads and depends
Tucks
comfrey tea
witch hazel
lansinoh
breast pads

manual breast pump
Things to Do:
Pack back-up hospital bag in case of transfer
figure out who I want at the birth
figure out who is gonna watch DS during birth
find someone to take pics/video during birth

Get DS transitioned from our bed to his own (ha...ha ha ha) (This is going better and faster than I had anticipated. I lie down with him until he falls asleep and he stays in his bed all night!)
Pick names for the baby
Get a yoga/birth ball asap. I keep procrastinating and I need one desperately.

And just to make myself feel better,

Things that are already done:
Newborn cloth dipes are prepped and ready to go
Newborn-3 month clothing is washed and organized in drawers
Slings have been brought out of hiding and washed
We have a carseat and stroller
I got a few more things crossed off the list and took a couple of things off the list. Today I am going out to get a plastic cover for the mattress and technically we'll be all set for a homebirth (on land.)

All done! Well, except for picking the name and packing an official bag for hospital.

4.)declutter the basement that is where our laundry is so it needs to be done before he is here!!! (it is not looking good down there! )

5.)buy nursing bras

6.)pack hospital bag (I didn't do that with Ds and would LOVE to with this one! )

7.)plan meals for after baby is here.

8.)figure out where Ds will be when I am in labor!! I believe my sister will be taking care of him but I have not asked her. (Done my sister said she just figured that she was going to have him

That is all I can think of for now.

Things I have!

swing,
bouncy seat,
my Grandfathers bassinet,
a wood play yard for when the bassinet is to small,
all the clothes he will need until he fits in size 18 months (we do a lot of thrift and yard sale shopping!)
a baby hawk, Kozy, and sling,
we are doing a diaper service,
baby hammock (well it will be here around September 3rd they are on back order)

I am pretty set I tend to get nervous because I was born over 10 weeks early so I get scared near the end of the second trimester and go nutty to make sure most everything is set for the baby on the way. It drives my family nuts but hey at least the last trimester is stress free

I still have a few things to do but hey I am farther along than I thought on this list I am going to get the meals set in next week!

I am not going to have the carpets done until after the first snow that way i know Ds and my nephews are not dragging in all kinds of sand and dirt from the backyard and totally defeat the purpose of a carpet cleaning!!!!

I am not to sure what will happen with the basement I am totally not feeling the HUGE drive to declutter it although I want it DONE

I got all the diapers set up as we got free ones from my best friend instead! We also went to get last minute little things for the baby today so that is all done I feel real good and set!

I'm done with everything on my original list. I mean, I didn't get a breast pump, but I don't care at the moment. That just means more time snuggling with my baby without anyone else asking to feed her. There's not even a bottle in the house.

I do need to pick up a package of chux pads. And I'm down to my last little bit of loose raspberry leaf, which I will definitely want for brewing during labor. I could probably prep a few more diapers, but it isn't crucial.

I really need to be listening to hypnobabies every day now, though. I tend to skip a day or two in between practicing, and I want to be fully prepared.

The biggest thing I need to do is put together materials for my homeschool co-op kids to work on while I am out with the baby. I keep putting this off, and I really need to just buckle down and do it. I will most definitely not want to be putting together last minute activities while I am all freshly postpartum.
