i had this very thing for about 10 days when I ate something that was contaminated with salmonella. I was not pregnant at the time, ask your dr if you are concerned. The most important thing is to keep yourself hydrated. Drink lots of water. You might even want to try the anti-diarrhea stuff you can find at your local drug store.

honestly I dont think it would have been something you ate just yesterday. I didnt get sick with what I had until days later. I only made the connection with what I ate and what I caught because it was on the news and there was a local outbreak. Im not sure about meds during pregnancy, I would ask your dr. See if they can test you for salmonella or ecol i or something. thats what it sounds like to me...

I hope it clears up. I would consider talking to your care provider though.

He, he, it's not like that...it's not like you don't eat anything but those things, no, not at all. It's just that you add more foods in those categories in to your daily meals to help "solidify" things a little.

Yogurt can be especially helpful, and avoiding sugary things at least until things feel better to you.

Staying hydrated, drinking fluids, is the most immediate concern with diarrhea and pregnancy.
