So I am about 7.5 weeks postpartum and last night I started having pretty painful pelvic cramps and whole body aches. I couldn't even sleep. This morning seems a little better, but I was wondering if this is normal or not.

I am breastfeeding and on an oral birth control pill (for breastfeeding-no estrogen). My only guess is maybe my period is coming back??? I have never had painful PMS symptoms before giving birth.

Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated...

It may be your period. Your body tends to change a lot after having a baby. My cycle changed after my first.
