All he asks is that you email him back after you find out for his research. He has a pretty cool story about how he developed his system.

Not yet. I just emailed him right before I posted my message. From what I've read, at most it should take a day or two for him to get back with you.

So any of you had any follow ups to this?

I'm confused by question #1 and #2. Isin't the first day of your last menustral cycle the same things as your LMP?

He responded back by telling me his prediction is for a GIRL based on my cycle being 31 days. If I had my usual 28 day cycle, that would change his predication to BOY. We'll see if he's right in 1.5 week.

It's based on the days in your cycle? That must mean it relies on ovulation...what day did you ovulate or coceive, do you know? Because your due date is 1 day after me! That might put me close to you...I am so curious!

If that is true and he's assuming I BDed on day 14 than he's wrong. We didn't BD or conceive until the day after ovulation which would make it more likely to be a boy. LOL

Well you can only get pregnant on ovulation day can't you?
I'm confused :
What is "BD"?

Baby dance...i.e gettin' it on.

An egg can live up 24-36 hours I do believe so it is possible to ovulate, have sex, and catch it within that time frame. Easier to conceive before hand than after but not impossible.

No. This baby was conceived either 10 days before ovulation or 4 days after. I'm absolutely certain of O date- but it's possible that there were two eggs. Everything I've read suggests that the second egg is normally released 24 hours or less after the first, though.

BD = Baby Dance or having sex. It is possible for the egg to live 12-24 hours after ovulation. When using NFP for avoidance, they suggest you wait at least 48 hours after ovulation to resume sex to ensure the egg(s) has expired. We normally wait the 2 days after, but this cycle it took me 3 days longer to ovulate and we got impatient. There is a less than 10% chance of conceiving the day after ovulation. We underestimated our fertility. Should have known better. LOL

Those scenarios would be biologically difficult. Sperm normally lives only 2-3 days after ejaculation. In a perfect lab environment sperm has been known to live up to 7 days, but since most women's bodies are not perfect lab environments the typical 2-3 days is more likely. The egg survives for approximately 12-24 hours after ovulation. It is true that you can have multiple ovulation within 24 hours. That is why NFP suggests waiting at least 48 hours after ovulation to resume sex if avoiding. So technically you could be fertile for up to 48 hours after the first ovulation if there is a multiple ovulation. Maybe you ovulated later than you thought.

Good luck finding the error : I shouldn't BE pregnant, it shouldn't be possible. But I am.
ETA- honestly, I know that sounded snarky, and I'm sorry. I'm somewhat frustrated by this. The other meds are condoms, btw, used correctly. Day 11 was a bust condom (several, actually) so is recorded as unprotected BD as well, and day 24 was actually after midnight.

Condoms aren't 100% protection even if used correctly. From your chart, I'm going to guess that maybe some sperm got through on day 16. That was 5 days before ovulation so it can technically be possible. Based on that though, you would more likely conceive a girl. Have you found out the gender yet?

I got my response back and he said a girl.
Chinese gender prediction says it's a boy.
My mother says it's a boy and I feel like it's a boy. I guess only feel this way because, if I understand correctly, based upon o date and conception date it's more likely a boy. We bd 10 dpo. Doesn't that give a higher probability for a boy? Or am I not understanding something?

I guess we'll know for sure at some point.
This kinda makes me want to do an u/s. LOL

By 10 dpo are you meaning that you only had sex 10 days past ovulation? Or am I missing something?

ETA: The rules for conceiving a boy is to abstain until you're within 12 hours of ovulation and then have sex. To conceive a girl you can have sex up until 2-3 days before ovulation and then abstain until after 48 hours past ovulation.

He got back to me too! He's predicting girl and that's what DH has been saying all along. Chinese chart says boy. I had only 2 cycles before we conceived this time. I'm normally a 29 day cycle girl but it was 40 days the cycle before conception so I went with that as my cycle length. We find out July 16th!

I guess my question is did you BD on day 10 of your cycle or 10 days after ovulation which would likely be day 24 or later? If you BDed on day 10 of your cycle, it would depend on when you ovulated after. If you BDed on day 10 and ovulated day 10 or 11, then you'd have a higher chance for a boy. But if you BDed on day 10 and ovulated day 14, you'd have a better chance of a girl. Does that make sense?

I was completely mistaken in my pp. I totally have placenta brain. lol In my defense, I was on the phone and had a 3yo "helping" me type.

Anyway, we bd very near ovulation which I thought resulted in a higher probability of a boy? Based on temps I believe I o on 3/28 or 3/29 and we conceived on 3/29.
Anyone tried this one http://www.babygenderpredictiontest.com/
