Well, I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was positive. It looks like that was ovulation 2 weeks ago after all. We wanted another baby for sure, and we wanted them close together... though this was a lot closer than we expected. I was very excited though. Anyway, about 10 minutes after I got the BFP I started spotting. Through the day it has kept up and is heavier now. I am pretty sure I'm having a miscarriage.

What makes me sad is that I had checked my due date and it is the EXACT same due date as the pregnancy before Ciaran that also ended in a m/c at 11 weeks. I was in shock when the due date calculator popped up with October 30th again.

I really do believe that everything happens for a reason and that my body probably just isn't ready for another pregnancy right now. I could probably handle it fine except for the due date. That m/c was so hard on me and losing another baby due on the exact same day is really tough. My MW says that the bleeding may not mean anything, especially since I have no cramping but I doubt it.

Sorry, just wanted to share since I don't have anyone to tell IRL to tell besides DP and my MW. Just feeling down about it and I know no one else will understand.

I'm so sorry. No matter about timing, it's always sad when a pregnancy ends. And even more to have it echo like that.

Whatever happens, take care of yourself, mama!

I'm so sorry. Even with the understanding/belief that everything happens for a reason, it is still really tough.

I'm so sorry. You know your body best, but it is totally possible to have a positive pregnancy test for several weeks post partum even when you are not pregnant due to residual pregnancy hormones. I also believe everything happens for a reason. Of course that doesn't make things easier or less sad.

I was thinking the same thing so I tested last weekend just to make sure it would come back negative. I knew it was way too soon after ovulation to test postive. I was afraid that I would get a positive on the residual hormones, too. I got a negative test then so I don't think that is the issue. I almost kind of wish it was.

Just wanted to check in so I didn't leave everyone hanging. I am fairly sure that I have miscarried, though I haven't had enough bleeding to be through with it yet. I bled for 2 days, though it was only light spotting and it was all very dark brown. I only had 2 tiny spots of red blood on the first day then it was all deep brown and mucousy. I have taken 2 more HPT's and they are getting progressively lighter. The last line was so light it was barely visible. The symptoms I was starting to have (nausea, tiredness, food aversions) are starting to go away.

I am doing okay emotionally. My MW has been really supportive and is fine with my wishes to just wait and see as opposed to going for any testing. I'm just waiting now to see what happens. My last m/c happened almost 3 weeks before the really heavy bleeding started, so I might still have a while.

Thanks for all the support, mamas! I really appreciate it.
