Best - getting to know that new person inside

Worst - hemorrhoids:

I like the mind to be a dustbin of scraps of brilliant fabric, odd gems, worthless but fascinating curiosities, tinsel, quaint bits of carving, and a reasonable amount of healthy dirt.

Best - feeling the baby moving around and imagining my growing family.

Worst - I was going to say round ligament pain, but the gas cramp I just had to "birth breath" through is making me consider gas instead!

PT SAHM to DD1 10.23.07 and DD2 1.23.10 : both : Expecting #3 in early June 2015!

I got this last time too - the massage therapist waned me not to push things around with my feet, as the pubic bone could actually dislocate - the horror!

crashing to say YES! After I gave birth I was soooo happy to not be PG! I could bend over, eat, breath, crack my back, sleep on my belly! It was wonderful. Plus DS is cuter then I ever imagined!

I'm crunchy... Like a Dorito.

Best - that feeling of peace of baking a baby

Worst - I had really bad pleurisy with my daughter - it was just awful. I'm not even one to take meds, but, man, I wish I could've.

What a great idea for a thread

Best: Watching the baby move, and getting to 'play' before they even arrive

Worst: I am going to have to agree with Naomi on gas. I had the worst gas pain at 8 months last pregnancy I thought for sure it was preterm labor.

Best... the moving and kicks and the birth (I love giving birth!!)

worst... SPD... Last time was the worst, I couldn't get out of the bed without help and actually had to snap my pelvis back into place before getting up... I slept in a chair the last weeks...

Best: Baby kicks (can't wait!) and smelling that sweet newborn head.

Worst: Not being able to breathe the last three months...
Buying 54,436 packs of pantiliners, trying to get comfortable while sleeping, not being able to go to the grocery store myself at the end...

I love the baby element and feeling him/her...but I'm another who's not an entirely glowing preggo.

Best - knowing that a brand new being is forming inside my body as I type! That little body is getting bigger and stronger... and the little soul is slowly arriving (or so I imagine)... wondering about what she/he will be like, how our family will be together, the fun we'll have together, playing and learning...

Worst - nearly everything else: I am sick sick sick this time around, like never before. Puking, nauseated constantly, exhausted without reprieve (yes, I am feeling terribly sorry for myself, can't get off the couch, need to sleep all day); pelvic pain, breast tenderness and constipation, can't stand ANY smells (including my dear husband's normal human being smell, or my dd's breath!!!); gaining weight and swelling... should I go on???

Worst- The pukey feeling and the extreme tiredness.

best - I'm pregnant!!!!
worst - Worry.

I am doing everything I can think of to keep this pregnancy healthy. I think the worry is the worst part. What if I lose this one, too?

Exactly! I'm sure that if I make it past the first 12 weeks, I'll start to think about the other inconveniences...but I'm definitely not past the anxiety part yet.

Best - Improved blood flow to the 'nether regions' (snicker)

Worst - the shock on my dh's face and the way his face turned red because his blood pressure shot up.

Best - Thinking about the little person I am hiding and anticipating his/her arrival into my world.

Worst - The extra inches he/she adds to my waiste that seems to stick around even after I deliver.

Any misspellings or grammatical errors in the above statement are intentional;
they are placed there for the amusement of those who like to point them out.
