Our hot water heater started leaking last Thursday, and we were supposed to get a new one today (old one was 13 years old and original to the house). But, the new one was too big for the space, so now we have MORE delay and cold showers/baths unless we heat up water downstairs and haul it up the steps. Just a little whine about that. It DOES make me really appreciate something that normally I take for granted. Just not fun trying to haul hot water upstairs when pg!

That is hard to go without hot water. I am so glad that I live in a place where I don't have to haul & heat water daily. I can't imagine doing it for more than a few weeks.
Hope your H2O heater can be installed quickly.

Oh, man, that sucks. I'm pretty sure it would suck most for my husband that has to go to work...my daughter and I would just wait until the cheapo, plastic pool in the backyard warmed up for daily baths. You know three year olds...they get off on stuff like that.

Any ideas when it's showing up?

My sympathies I'd rather not shower than be forced to take a cold one. I hope it gets taken care of quickly for you!

Oh, what a pain! I'm thinking there would be lots of playing in the sprinkler days for the kids if that happened here LOL

Oh! I would do just about anything to not take a cold shower/bath. I can't stand cold water and have to have HOT showers/baths (like boil me and turn me red like a lobster "RED HOT"). My DH OTOH loves cold showers and will take one any time (I think he is nuts!).

Hope you get it fixed soon.
