I'm actually getting worried because i've lost weight this pregnancy. with Eli i gained 25lbs. with this one the first trimester I lost 6lbs but have only gained 2 of them back! The doc seemed a little worried at my last appointment but she didn't say anything to be about it.
I'm surprised they haven't done another u/s measurement.
I lost 15lbs in the beginning (well, first 20 weeks from m/s), gained part of it back but I'm still less then my pre-preg weight. Then I gained 4lbs after being sick for 2-3 weeks (it's like my body though it needed to keep it around incase I couldn't eat again LOL) but then lost 5lbs by my next appt a week later. I'm measuring smaller then I have with either of my other babes. The Dr isn't worried or at least hasn't said anything.
Well I do believe I was about 123lb at the beginning and last week I was 151lb or something. So by the time I'm done, I suppose I will be in the 31+ category! It's all baby, which is insane really. I will post a pic of me in the "belly pics" or something. You'll see. I have this enormous belly...
I'm 4'10" and started at 120 (which is barely in the normal BMI range for my height but I worked hard to get there), lost 5 pounds in 1st trimester, gained the 5 back in the second trimester, but now I am at 40 weeks +2 days and weighing in at 152 lbs. Think this is the most I've gained in all my pregnancies. Hopefully some of it is all this swelling in my legs I've been having lately. I'll be honest though, I've been hitting the sweets pretty hard lately as comfort food for my stresses.
I started at 124 & am 148 as of yesterday at 2pm. First time I have weighed myself in a few months. Only a gain of 24 pounds, but I still have a month to go or so.
I'm not worried about the gain or loss. I gained 29 & 28 with both of my other pregnancies & lost the weight within 9 months.
I am not allowed to look at the scale anymore after a stupid midwife (not mine) lectured me about gaining 16 lbs in 4 weeks and I ended up skipping meals. But I have an eating disorder so It is really not safe for me to know.
The funny thing is that I eat healthy and eat the right amounts - it just seems that when I am pregnant I gain TONS of weight. With DD I started out at 130 entered the hospital at 210 and left the hospital with an 8 lb baby and weighing 165.. so who knows what my body is thinking.
Oh.. and I still have low blood sugar even when I am pregnant so no GD for me
I have gained 70+ lbs. It's twins, but still, that's alot of weight. Yet, everything seems healthy. I keep getting comments from people about how good I still look and that I look small for being 38 weeks with twins. I'm not sure where all that weight is!
Kind of bummed because I started around 125 and I'm currently sitting at 167 with 3 weeks until my due date. So out of the norm for me and I don't know what has changed!! My two other pregnancies I delivered at 150. I gained 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks alone!
As of 5 and a half weeks ago, I was up 6 lbs. I don't have a home scale and my dr doesn't do weigh ins so I have no idea what I'm at now. I assume it's gone up since i have way overindulged in the Christmas baking and sweets.
So I put 10-20 lbs.
With my daughter I gained 35 lbs and was happy with that. Not sure what's going on this time, but I decided way back in the beginning that it wouldn't bother me, no matter how much I gained... easy decision to follow through on so far!
I'm not sure where I started, probably around 80 kilos, and now I am 94 or 95 kilos...so about 33-35 pounds so far, at 37 weeks. That's fine. Last time I gained about 45-50 pounds by the end, and I lost the first 35 in the first week.
I'm choosing not to stress about weight this time. I have more important things to worry about than weight that's going to go away any way.
I think having a winter baby, especially in January is really not good timing. For me at least. It all started with Halloween and the candy and cookies that goes with that, then Thanksgiving and all the pies and food to make, and lastly Christmas with all the good food and ALL THOSE CHRISTMAS COOKIES!!!!!!
So far, 19 pounds at just turned 36 weeks. I said I was gonna try for 15 and happily settle for 25, since I was heavier than I wanted to be to start with. So looks like I'm in line with my hopes.
I didn't see anyone until week 19 and I don't know what I originally weighed. So freeing!! I am now 206lb at 36 +3 and I delivered my first son at 209lb. So I am pretty stoked about that. But to not know--it's a beautiful thing. No hassle from anyone.
I haven't been weighing myself but I've probably gained around 60 lbs or so. I was a size 10 when I got PG and will probably be a size 16 when I deliver.
