Been having more and more pain lately in my lower back and hips and down low in front. The pain is mostly down low in front and sharp, then especially when cooking dinner/meals/dishes in kitchen, low back starts to hurt bad. It feels better if I breathe and try to relax. Started up again though as soon as I got out of bed this am.

Super mom to a 5 1/2 year old girl, almost 4 yr old girl, and 2 year old boy.

that sounds awfully familiar to me, the last couple of days. I am counting down to dh's days off starting tonight, so I can put my feet up and rest; don't really know what else can make it better. good luck!

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

I've been getting that too at night. I have a hard time sleeping at night because I get pain everytime I move (unless I remember to do the hynobabies techniqes). I've never gotten this before. But this baby is lower (still not engaged though) then my other 2 were so I'm thinking that's what it is but who knows.

Hmm, I've been getting this too more and more this week...still pregnant. Sorry not so helpful, but lets hope it means babies are coming very soon for all of us!

I had horrible symphysis pain for part of my second trimester, but it resolved itself by around 28 weeks (no idea why, though I think it was stretching and dance classes, even though I'd been doing that since before my pregnancy). Since the baby started dropping a few days ago, it's come back. It's much worse today after walking. I fervently want to believe it has meant the beginning of the end. So I'm right there with you.

I'm having it, too. No idea what it is. This baby is still very high, I'm guessing it's just the end of pregnancy, but hoping it's a sign something will happen soon.

Same here, off and on (increasingly on) for the last couple of weeks now.

I blame relaxin!

this is so weird for me because with my duaghter I was in horrible pain from about 28 weeks on- and then the last 2 weeks of pregnancy every joint pain and stiffness just disappeared. Now the last few weeks are the hard weeks!

Grace - wife to Jeff and mama to Nigella (11/08) and Orrin (01/10)- expecting a new addition (05/12)! Life is a whirlwind, but I'm learning to enjoy the ride!
