I love....

when Miranda gets so excited and smiley when she sees my face!

seeing my two girls snuggle and laugh together!

when Miranda sleeps so peacefully in the mei tai.

I hate....

when Miranda teases me by looking like she's going to fall asleep, only to stay awake and be cranky.

when my 3-year-old inadvertently waked the baby up from her nap.

Now share yours!!!

Amy, proud Mama to my girls Natalie (12/7/06) and Miranda (2/9/10).

I love...

...family showers with Aengus in the water sling
...when he looks like he is concentrating so hard on eating that he puts his hands on either side of my breast
...that he started smiling at his daddy first
...that he loves naked time so much he smiles and kicks his legs
...when he's fussy he stops crying as soon as he hears the guitar in Back in Black

I hate...
...when the smoothie place swears there is no milk protein in the smoothie I ordered...only to find out there was after I drank it and Aengus was feeling it all day yesterday
...when he decides we all should be up at 4:30am b/c he's decided it's morning and will fuss if I close my eyes

I Love:
...being the mama of 3 boys!....that Tanner is smiling and cooing and making such a connection with his eyes.....when my boys talk to Tanner with a super sweet, soft voice....any time when I can just sit (or lie) and let Tanner sleep on me....

I Hate:
...that this time is going to go so fast....that this is most likely my last baby....that I feel like I don't have as much patience with my older boys right now....

I love:

-his first smiles and "talking" noises
-when he's snuggled up asleep next to me in the sling
-watching him and DH together

I hate:
-going through three hours of cluster feeding and screaming to get him settled down for the night!

I love-
-the way he smiles and has this cool blissed out expression after nursing.
-gazing into each others eyes

I hate
-the pain in my abdomen from the c section
-the slow healing from the c section and not being able to go for a walk yet and generally feeling really weak from it

I love the little noises she makes in the middle of the night, rooting and moving her hands, and that it wakes me up and I can tend to her before she wakes up and gets upset. While she nurses, I love examining her tiny toes and fingers and hands and feet and head and hair. Love when her little arms fling up, reflex response. LIke all her little facial expressions, more and more happening each day.

I do not like the sharp pain in my left boob. Recovering from mastitis and crack/open wound is slowly healing.

I love...
having her in the sling against me
that she sleeps with us (DS never did and still won't)
her smoochy newborn mouth when she's asleep
the smell
arms above the head and back in a C shape stretches
little clutching hands
how much her brother loves her
that she sleeps
that she doesn't have colic or reflux
that she's just perfect

I hate...
that it's going SO fast
that dh can't spend any time with her due to our demanding 2 year old and when he does he seems to think she doesn't like him because she cries...never mind that she still cries 100% less than DS
That she only settles between 10 and 11 pm but DS wakes up 5am every morning...I am tired!
That DS still wakes up more than my newborn most nights
