Just need some encouragement.

I'm having tons of pregnancy symptoms, but am getting BFNs. I'm trying to stay positive, trying to tell myself it's just too early (I'd only be 3wk6d pg so EARLY) and that I just need to wait, but I keep testing, keep getting BFNs and feeling blah.

It's ridiculous, I know, as this was our first month trying, but I FEEL pregnant.

I've got:
breast tenderness/tingling that I only get when pg
restless leg syndrome
acne (I NEVER break out unless pg)
nausea/vomiting
temps up and staying there
lower right quadrant cramping (very mild)

None of my symptoms are anything like AF. She's due around the 16th. I ordered some more sensitive tests from early-pregnanct tests.com and they should arrive tomorrow (I hope!)

Has anyone tested BFN at this stage but gotten a BFP (and sticky baby!) later?

I need some encouraging stories! This is the earliest I've ever tested (all the other kids were oopses) and it's nerve wracking.

My DS2 was a late BFP, I tested until 12 dpo, took a break and finally got a BFP at 17 dpo. However I was symptomless for the 2ww, no pregnancy symptoms, no af symptoms (similar this time). Good luck, :

With DS3, AF was due on a Sunday, but DH was leaving town for 11 days on Friday. We were TTC and it was our first clomid cycle. He wanted to know before he left if I was pg, so I took a test, which was negative. On Sunday morning I took another and it was faintly +. It wasn't 13DPO...I think it was 12 and 14, but still... And it was a REALLY, REALLY faint + when I did get it. DS is now 10 months old .

I have tested negative with urine, when I had some pg symptoms.
We were going away on vacation, and I knew that I would be drinking alcohol, so i asked my mw to order me a blood test, and that came back very very very pregnant, as the tech told me! She could not believe that I did not know that I was pg!

With my first pregnancy, I got a BFN at what I thought was 17 DPO. Didn't manage to pee on another stick for two weeks, got BFP, went on to have a perfectly healthy normal pregnancy, now have a perfectly healthy two year-old. So it can happen.

Thanks, ladies. I'm trying to avoid going to my midwife for a blood test, but if I don't get a stick BFP by Friday I may do it since I'm off work that day.

What test are you using? I had a + on a First Response Early Result when my beta came back 12, which is just barely, barely pregnant. I highly recommend them...yeah, they're not .10 each, but they are only $4 each at Target.

With my daughter I tested negative until 14 dpo. I had given up on being pregnant when I did get a bfp. Good luck! :

I may try one of those tomorrow. I work at Target, so with my discount it'd only be $3.60.

Well, technically they're 3 for $12. But hey, three tests just means that much more fun.

With this pregnancy, I got a BFN at what I thought was 20 DPO (I still don't know what it was exactly -- will know when I get an u/s on the 31st -- but it was definitely close to a week after AF was due) and then a BFP a week later, so two weeks after AF was due (I didn't test in between).

Yep, that would have been me. When I wiped after, I saw blood too and thought "darn it, here comes my period, that was a waste of a test." Turned out to be implantation spotting. Felt kinda silly when I finally tested a week later after no more bleeding and the two lines showed up almost immediately...

Good luck to you!

First of all, hugs to you and hoping you get your BFP!

When I tested for my DS, I was three days late, so I never tested early - never had any symptoms until the 8 week mark. Now, with baby #2, I tested 10 dpo - got a BFN. I tested the day that AF was supposed to arrive - 90% of the time, I always start in the morning and never did. I tested the morning after AF was due, so 15 dpo and got a BFP - I used a CBE digi. I think, for some women, our bodies just don't respond to HPT until after AF is missed. At least that's the conclusion that I'm getting with my own body. I only tested early this time around 'cause I knew that we DTD close to my O day and I just had to see if it really happened on the first time again..... I had my ususal AF symptoms - no real pg symptoms until I POAS and got my BFP!!

I'm currently 7 weeks along and doing just fine. Got a couple of pg symptoms with headaches, sore boobs and awful fatigue..... Other than that, I'm trucking right along and looking forward to my 8wk check up on Monday!

One happy mama to 1/06 , 3/10 , and married to my best friend

BFN again today (14DPO) with a First Response and with a super early test strip.

I'm also spotting, so I think I may be out this month. Hoping I'm wrong, but not optimistic.
