Normal is between 120 and 160, so you are perfectly average. Though, they do say that slower heart rates are more likely to be boys...

Ivory, partner to Tom, mama to Ella (12/9/05), Alice (12/8/07), and our newest addition, Rebecca (4/1/10).

im fairly certain normal is between 120-180, not 160.
but yeah 145 sounds perfect carley!

my dd2 & dd3's heartbeats were always about 170 average, and i was told that was always perfectly normal. and as they are perfectly healthy and here, i assume that is correct

the fact that this babes heartbeat is about 150 and it is slower than any of my other babes, i am slightly convinced it is a boy, even though 150 is right in the middle of normal

Ha. I was totally shocked that we did so well. I usually score one thing in an afternoon. I was so psyched! I think part of it is that we just had a new Goodwill open up in North Tacoma, and there are quite a few familes with money around here who are probably donating, plus not many people know about it yet, so - bargains! Dd1 actually found one of the tops for me - she was pretty happy I liked it and bought it, and of course that I am telling everyone she spotted it!

Have you been to the Bellevue Goodwill? Totally worth the trip! The designer clothes go for about $25 - expensive by Goodwill standards, but still... There is also a Salvation Army Thrift Store near the Mariner's stadium (pg brain - can't remember what it is called) anyway, it is small but they have some pretty nice things.

As for heartrates, I seem to remember at least one of my girls being in the 140s. Also, heartrate varies depending on what mom has been doing, what baby has been doing, etc. I think the only time to worry is if it is consistently below 120 or so.

Wife to Thomas, WAH mama to Sofia Rose 8/04, Ellen Marie 10/07, her twin sister Amalie Joy lost 7/07 , and Maya Grace and Hannah Miriam 4/10
