I just finished knitting this blanket for the baby on the way... My gift to my baby! I haven't blocked it yet, which is why it's ruffly in some places, but it really turned out well...

I started it August 15, but I didn't work on it for nearly 2 weeks when my arm was in a sling... so altogether without the time I missed, it took about 5 weeks...

Thanks! Actually I am thinking about starting an Etsy Store and selling some of my work or doing a "your yarn my needles" kinda thing where I knit what a person wants and charge them by the yard of yarn...

I am looking forward to knitting for baby soon but I'm going to start with some smaller projects (teeny tiny bebeh clothes!) because I'm excited to work on some thing that will go fast! I'm always making sweaters for myself and they take sooo long. But once I get my fill of cute little mini clothes, I'll probably start on some blankets too.

So much fun stuff to make!

crashing from March DDC....That is a gorgeous blanket! Must have taken forever. I cannot knit but, I do crochet. Here are some of the little things I have been making for my babe. I will probably make a blanket and a sweater set or something after I find out what it is.
