Yeah, this is so exciting
From: Southern IL. Now I live in the Metro East area of St. Louis
Due Date: May 17
How long did we ttc? We were not really trying. I guess Passion got the best of us.
Gender: I don't really have a preference but I have a stong feeling that it is a boy. I even think of the baby in terms of the name we have for a boy. To be honest, I have bonded so much with this baby as a boy that I would be a little dissappointed if it is a girl.
Family: I have almost been married to my best friend, Devin, for 5 years. I have a sweet little boy, James, who is 14 months old. I also have a great dog named Macy.
Occupation: Well, I use to be a therapist and decided to stay home after James was born but I still identify myself as a therapist. Actually, my dog Macy use to work with me as a therapy dog. She was great at it and I was sad that she had to quit her job. She is still adjusting to being dog with out a job.
Hobbies: I have a heart and passion for teenage girls. I have been mentoring three girls for the past 7 years (they actaully are not teenagers anymore). I am the leader for the Girls ministry at my church and love it. For fun I love to be outside doing anything.
Favorite color? I don't really have a favorite color. I use to say it was yellow but I can't really say I prefer anyone color over another. (Honestly, I think I had a change of heart after meeting my mil. Her favorite color is blue and she takes it to extremes and I find it extremely annoying.)
Favorite ice cream? I would have to say chocolate chip cookie dough. So good.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Isreal. I would love to visit there and see all the history there.
Anywhere in the country you live in? I love the beach. So anywhere it is warm and there is a beach and the ocean. I am game.
If you could live anywhere with nothing to get in your way, ie cost, where would it be? I know this isn't a place per say but I would love to not have finances in my way and be able to go where every God desired me to go.
How do you think having this baby will change you? I don't really know. I feel that this baby is going to be different from my son. So I expect, that I will be challenged as a parent.
Where do you see yourself in ten years? Where every God takes me. Hopefully, several more children and maybe doing some part time counseling.
This was a lot of fun. Sorry I have been so winded.
