My family DR saw me, since I at first thought it might be the beginnings of chicken pox. He thinks I might have developed an allergic reaction to Amoxicillian. If not, and it doesn't get better, than it is probably pregnancy related and will need to see the OB about it.

DH didn't notice anything when we were getting dressed. Then we ran to Krogers, and I had an itchy skin episode. I figured it was my stretch marks, but I scratched anyways and started feeling these tiny bumps. I had about 21 red bumps (to me looked like possible blisters), across the top of my belly from the right to the left. They are only on my belly top and no where else.

So, I have to stop the meds for the sinus infection, and hope it doesn't come back. I also have to watch the spots and if they get worse or keep coming after a day or two, I will need to go to my OB.

*sigh*

One of the really obnoxious but ultimately harmless things it could be is PUPPS.

Harmless, as long as you don't go crazy from the itching....

I hope you feel better! Moisturize!

I feel your pain.... I've been dealing with hives and eczema flares on my hands and my feet (tops, bottoms and between my toes- it's heinously itchy) all throughout the pg.... skin reactions are the WORST! Quercetin with bromelain works for some folks with hives and eczema (not really for me since I'm allergic to pineapple) and my allergy specialist recommended Chlor-Trimeton as a pg safe allergy med (haven't tried it since I'm trying to avoid meds as much as possible while pg unless absolutely necessary.) The one thing that *does* help the itching/cracking skin a bit is slathering the effected areas with Aquaphor ointment before bed.
