Yesterday I was having a lovely dinner with my DH and we were discussing refinancing the house since interest rates dropped again. He was running numbers in his head and said something kind of under his breath like....okay, in 15 years R will be 26, D will be 17, new baby will be 15 and the next one will 11 or 12.

Um, dude what??? Next one? Did you notice I am like 15 month pregnant, in massive pain, have not slept in like 7 years and have organs prolapsing out of places they are just not supposed to be.

Not that I wouldn't entertain the idea. But is now the time to bring it up? Right now I want to dig out my ovaries with a soup spoon. Ask me again in a year after a couple glasses of wine.

Good thing I adore that man....otherwise there would have been an involuntary 2am vasectomy or something.

That's cute. At least in his mind there will be 3-4 years before the next one.

jamie. crinkly (not quite crunchy) mama to 3 amazing little girls, an awesome little boy, and a baby girl making her debut at the end of this summer.
