Wondering how accurate the Chinese Baby Calendar is!

Go to the link and put in your b-day and conception month for current children and tell me if its accurate.

It was right with my DD. If its right with this LO it will be a boy.

It was wrong for my son but correct for my daughter

It says I'm having a boy this time. I suppose it *could* be right - afterall the odds are 50/50

The thing is, it depends on the site. The calendars, I have found are the same, but there are some that ask you to "adjust" your age based on the location of your birth.. so if I adjust my age, I am 34, but if you go to the calendar on the mdc site, it is the same calendar WITHOUT the adjustment..

so this babe I timed for a girl in BOTH the 33 AND the 34 column.

Right for my son - predicting a girl this time around. Might be since w/ my son I felt great (relatively) and w/ this one, I'm hurting (morning sickness that lasts the day!).
That was kind of fun though!

It was right for my daughter. I remember looking at this when we were ttc in August. I was quite upset when we didn't conceive, because, according to the chart, August was my last month to have a boy until January. DP thinks I'm crazy.

Of course, it was wrong for him and it was wrong for his sister, too. It was right for my friend's daughter, though.

But who knows. I really want a boy, but I know, I just know (as does my friend and DP) that is baby is a girl. If it is, the chart will be right. Again.

Me with my baby girl Maeleigh (Oct 08) and My (step) baby girl Whren (May 05) in Heaven with her mommy .. And introducing our little JuneBug (June 10) We heard the !!!

I'm kind of a numbers nerd and I wanted to calculate the accuracy with this DDC.

If I calculated correctly, it is right about 60% of the time.

What's really interesting is that for those who stated whether it was right for girl or boy, it was right 72% of the time if it says you're having a girl. It is only right 31% of the time if it says you're having a boy.

I have 3 dds...it was right for 2 of them, wrong for one. I pray it's not accurate too cause it says this next one's a girl too!!! I would just love love love a healthy baby, but a boy would be nice considering this may be our last

It is correct for my dd, however I used to think it was wrong because of a chart on another thread that didn't explain how to correctly calculate lunar age (which I believe includes the 9 months in the womb). This site DOES do that and changed my outcome to a correct prediction.

With this child, it says boy. We shall see!

Weirdo Mama to amazing Aurelia, age 9 & Ember Roslyn, age 3!
