Things have changed there since I was there over 2 years ago. Thankfully they just had me down as an "oops" birth with Evan and I just didn't correct them.
Tuesday was the NP visit. She weighed me but no urine test. She got a fetal tone too. No BP check. Just BS paper work and standard prenatal stuff where dh and I just nodded politely through.
Thursday (today) was the dreaded appointment because of the pap and what not. Blech I hate getting paps. Still didn't take my urine, still no BP, but another fetal tones, the FHR was about 160 she said (BTW I don't like this nurse either). I asked about the urine and she said that they tested it on Tuesday because the NP had written down negative for the dips, LOL. DH and I were confused atthat but okay, it's not like I like peeing in a cup any ways!
U/S is scheduled for Feb 24th! I'll be 19 weeks at that point and I am more than anxious to find out what this little one is. DH is palying devil's advocate (mainly because of the naming issues, LOL) and says it'll be a girl. While I really want a girl I feel fairly strong that it will be another boy. Only 20 days to go until we know who's right now!
I'm not worried about the BP as we test it periodically at home and it was 110/70 on Monday. But still odd that they didn't seem to have their s**t together enough to know what each other did.
So that's my update.
The odd thing the Dr. said when he came in that both Dh and I furrowed our brows at was when he walked is in he said "I heard about you." Which I thought was a really odd thing to say. I thought he was going to say something about the "oops" delivery, or the one with the large family. Nope he continued with "You're the one who had the c-section and then all of the vaginal births." Um okay! I was afraid at that point he'd say something about how the hospital or he doesn't do VBAC's. Thankfully he didn't ellaborate. Doesn't matter as we aren't planning on birthing with him anyways (fingers crossed we don't need to transfer or we move before the birth), just using them for the u/s. That was the extend of what he had to say anyways, LOL He said I was a "pro" and probably didn't need the run down and just asked if I had questions or concerns. We didn't, andthat was that.
