Please send me lots of labour vibes and especially prayers for an easy homebirth and healthy baby.

Of course, i may be back tomorrow with continuing symptoms and no baby...

but i think this is it

Contractions started at before 6 am, but bearable and irregular. Have gotten closer together and more painful all day... they are something between 5-10 minutes apart now and i have to focus to get through them. Especially if i'm standing/walking (which i plan to do a lot of the next hour or so LOL).

Mucous has changed from creamy and pinkish to eggwhitey with bloody show.

Cervix has come down from barely reachable posterior the day before yesterday to still high and posterior but i can reach the front now... still can't check dilation myself though.

Anyway.... DH will be home in an hour. My mom is on alert, i phoned my MW who will call me back in 2 hours to check up (guess i don't have to drive an hour to my appointment after all! yay!)
I've got dinner in the oven and now i'm going to go clean up the house and hope that brings on faster stronger contractions.

I'll update tomorrow if something or nothing happens

PS- ouch! why did i want to do this again!?

Mom to Lizzy born May 2007 & expecting Baby#2 June/July 2010

I hope this is it for you!!!

The ouch will pass Mama, it won't last forever. The ouch is bringing you your baby and will stop when the baby is born.

You are a strong Mama Bear, you can do it.

Yes! Do things that bring on stronger contractions! Women don't have babies to be comfortable. Good strong labor and healthy baby wishes your way!

I am so curious to know how things turned out. Here's hoping you and baby are busy babymooning and enjoying your early days together.

Same here!

GOOD moms let their kids lick the beaters. GREAT moms turn off the mixer first!
