I got this stroller from my sister in law, and it's a great stroller when I need it. I can't say I use it a ton, but I like it.

Is it just me or is this a little ridiculous?

I actually have this stroller and if we use it we always use the straps, is that too hard to do? Especially with a kid that's under 1? I can understand not using it for an older kid, but an infant?

It just seems unfair to companies that make products to have to protect against negligence on the part of parents. This really just annoys me, but I guess the company does have to follow protocol. So, if the opening was bigger, would they have to recall for head injuries because the baby fell on the ground? Or was run over by the stroller? There is even a warning right next to the strap about strapping babies in.

What do you think?

DDCC- "These problems do not happen if the baby is secured in the stroller harness and the child is not left unattended in the stroller."

This makes me feel safe continuing to use my metrolite.
