So I went to the doctor's Wednesday for a 5.5 week ultrasound to make sure implantation went well and guess what? They saw 2 sacs, so they are 99% sure of twins!!!! I knew with fertility meds (injectables and IUI) it was a 20% chance but it still doesn't change the shock.

Is anyone else having twins? How different does it make your pregnancy and do you show sooner? So mant questions, any insight appreciated!!

I go next week to see heartbeats on both of them to make sure they are both developing properly.

Double the congratulations!!!

I'm jealous, too. My doctor saw evidence that I ovulated three times (all on my own) but there is only one baby. I could have had spontaneous triplets!

I hope both of your little beans grow big and healthy and are snug as little bugs in a peapod.

Congratulations! Very cool. I was praying this time for no twins because I want to VBAC at home, but any other time is totally fine with me.
Hope you get to see their heartbeats next week. How awesome!

Congratulations!!

As far as daycare times two... think about a nanny! someone to come to your house, especially when they are little can sometimes cost less than double daycare costs!

K, H, and baby E (who is now three!!!)

Congrats! We found out we're expecting twins last Tuesday. So I can imagine a little of what you may be feeling. For us it's child #2 and 3. We're both feeling incredibly overwhelmed. We're due August 15th.

Yay! I'm envious. I would love twins.

My advice may not be appropriate for you. That's ok. You are just fine how you are and I am the right kind of me.

I am also pregnant with twins! (can't believe 3 of us are!)
Luckily for me, these aren't my babies (I'm carrying for my friends..we did IVF with their embryos) so I don't have to deal with the worries that you guys will have when they are born. But, this is also my first twin pregnancy and I'm still shell-shocked.
I'm 9w2d and I've lost (as of last Tuesday) 24 pounds. I always have HG, but this time seriously sucks because it just won't go away. Zofran every 3 hours is just not cutting it. And I'm double tired for sure. That surprised me too because I could always take a nap with my own kids, but these naps last 4+ hours!!
It'll be nice to have our own little multiple club!

Mama to my own amazing children..student midwife..home birth activist..and gestational surrogate-twin boys weighing 7lbs3oz & 8lbs4oz...vaginal, unmedicated forced induction @ 38w5d

Congrats! My sil is having twins in May-- two boys. She did feel a bit sicker this time and is bigger than last time, but still didn't show as early as I am one. . Good luck
