I'm just about 12 weeks now and have finally started to make a dent in the diaper stash for the new bean--its hard since I am working almost full time. So far I've made 16 of the free ddnb pattern(darling diapers newborn) and one fattycake, with many more to come. I plan on making a huge newborn stash so I'm not washing everyday, and then I'll be working on some one sized diapers. Pics here: http://tinyurl.com/yhlzef3

Finally? We're not due for ~6 mos., right?!
I'm planning on 24-36 diapers. Enough to wash every third day. I think I change diapers less often than some cd-ers though.

They look great! I've always had problems with constructing my own, any secrets to share? Especially curious about the elastic- I'm REALLY bad at that part.

Yes finally, since its hard for me to get the time since I work retail and don't have set hours. I want to try to get all the newborn diapers done in the next 2 months or so and then work on one size diapers and some outfits once we find out the gender. Plus, I have a few people who want me to embroider some diaper cuts for them for trades on a diaper sewing board I belong to, so I need time to get those done as well. Don't want to be like how it was when Bryant was born, only have a dozen newborn diapers and a bunch of prefolds. He was in prefolds for the first month or 2 until I was able to build a better stash for him.

I'm planning on giving it another go this time around--I tried with my second around 6 mos, but she was such a chunk that when winter came on I couldn't figure out how to keep her diapered and warm so quit. DD2 came and I had ppd and couldn't handle anything even perceived as "extra".
I have bigger stuff, but no nb stuff. I'm looking at prefolds, kissaluvs, and AIO's. I've bought one thirstie's ai2 so far. Gotta keep working on this!
What's everyone else doing? So many options...
OP, those are dang cute!

caution: one-handed nak

typos likely

Very cute stash!! Great job!!!
With DD I made a few pockets which worked well when she was younger, but decided we liked the prefolds better, so now I just make the covers.
Waiting on some FOE to get in stock where I usually order it from, then I'll be starting the newborn and small covers. Can't wait!!!
