It's official. They are gone. Lost in a sea of swollen-ness.

You're not! At my Dr. appt yesterday, he actually said "they're okay, i can still feel the bones." Feel them, there's usually concave places around my ankle bones that you can see! And there most definitely are not now! Ah, the fun of the third trimester. (and I'm only 31 weeks!)

It freaks me out at the end of each day to see that my ankles have turned into round things that bulge out, instead of being concave like they are in the morning. YUCK! I sometimes say to dh, "eww, look at my ankles!" and he'll say "no thanks!" and turn away!

Happily married mother of DD1 (10/87), DD2 (7/08), and DD3 (8/10)

Haha! I was just telling DH today that when I look down they seem more like hobbit feet to me (you know, the rubbery ones from the movies) than my own

You are definitely not alone!

Mama to a little man who arrived early on 7/18/10! DS2 due in October 2013.

As of yesterday I joined the edema club as well. My poor toes look all pudgy. I need to rope my DH into a foot rub.

My feet and ankles are so swollen! It starts up pretty much right away in the day. Yesterday even the bottoms of my feet were swollen so standing and cooking for company coming over was painful! when I wake up in the morning and the swelling has gone down, feet and ankles feel all bruisy. My feet have the look of when you blow up a latex glove... I had this though my last pregnancy as well. After the birth I would sit in bed and stare at my ankles in complete disbelief that they were actually mine! They looked soo skinny!
