I'm 36 weeks and had some lovely brown goo this morning. I know it doesn't mean I'm going to go into labor, but a girl can dream, right? My last babe was 9 lbs. at 39 weeks; I wouldn't mind birthing a 7-something pound baby this week! I have some menstrual-like cramping but no contractions. My cervix is about 3-4cm dilated (but I was 3cm for weeks with my first and FIVE for a couple weeks with my second). Baby girl has been stubbornly posterior but turned anterior yesterday after a few hours in the pool.
Today is newborn laundry day anyway, so her stuff will be all ready in a few hours!

Definitely sounds promising! My first was born a week after I got blood streaked mucus and the day after I passed my first glob, so I've been on full panty watch, but so far, nothing for me. You could very well be our first! Keep us updated....

My advice may not be appropriate for you. That's ok. You are just fine how you are and I am the right kind of me.

OMG I can't believe we have bloody show already!!! Congrats, how exciting. We're going to start seeing some babies soon, and it looks like you'll probably be one of the first. You're right that you could still go a while longer, but bloody show usually means labor is somewhere in the near future. Good luck and keep us updated!!!

No more signs of impending labor, alas. Since I'm only 36 weeks I don't want to do anything to encourage it, but if she's ready, I'm ready. Thanks for all the crossed fingers, I'll definitely keep y'all posted!
