Thank you everyone for all the congratulations!!!

We got to go home the next day!!!! He was born 11:43 AM on Friday and we were home by 5:00 PM on Saturday. My doctor sure knew how much I didn't want to be in the hospital.

We are all doing really awesome now. Bode ended up back in the hospital after he quit breathing at 7 days old but they suspect it was due to him choking on mucous. He was there for two days on machines and they ran a ton of tests and found nothing wrong with him.

I am recovering really well. I haven't been in anymore pain than a '2' on the scale, and that is without Tylenol. Right now at 11 days PP, I feel like I did last time at 4 weeks. I can do pretty much everything and am in no pain anymore, unless I sneeze or cough (ouch). I am now off of all my BP meds. The last time I took a BP pill was the morning before my surgery. My BP came down as soon as he was born and the day I was released it was sitting at 106/59. The hospital midwife who I know really well came in to see me and when I told her that my BP was way down already she said "Jeepers, placentas really don't like you, do they?"

Here are some photos of him

Yay!!! I'm so glad your recovery is going so smoothly! And, while it must have been heart-stoppingly scary to have him stop breathing, what a relief that he's fine and home again with you! Congratulations again!
