Here is a couple pics took when I should have been cleaning... The first one my beautimous dogger posed in and the second I think I almost fell over in, it was hard to not laugh!

So... sort of feels like a waste of makeup.

But then, I'm the photographer of the family so I shouldn't have expected anyone to be able to get good pics right?

At least three good ones though!

One I took
One DS took
One DH took

Mae-those are adorable! I noticed your belly button isn't protruding at all. How is that possible. These are great pictures.

lol 1 - Im fat

not even kidding, I am quite obese, I just carry it REALLY well so I look overweight rather than obese, but I do have a lot more fat on me than I should

2 - I have a really really deep belly button. Even when I was super skinny when I was younger it was really deep. I'm not sure what determines depth of a belly button but mine is seriously deeper than an inch not-pregnant. Now, its about half an inch. It is actually weird to have a normal depth belly button now!

but thank you! I am pretty happy with what I got, even if there's no facial proof that that's actually my tummy. At least it has the kids faces on it so Mae will know it really is her in there!

Mae- you don't look obese at all! My belly button is almost inside out and it's tender. It feels weird. I've always wondered what determines the depth of the belly button too or whether it's an inny or outy.

I am 5 foot 8 inches and just over 240lbs... so yeah, obese I was 227 prepregnancy though. So I am very proud that I ate well enough and stayed active enough to not put on ANOTHER 50 lbs like I did with previous pregnancies. And being as heavy as I am, 15lbs is acceptable pregnancy weight gain. Everyone that knows me can tell Ive actually lost weight in my face/arms/legs.

but like I said, I carry it REALLY well. Ive never weighed under 160 at my adult height, but at 160 I look GREAT, very obviously exactly the weight I should be.

Supposedly 140 is my ideal weight but at 140 I would look like a skeleton... and my low-okay of 120 I cannot even imagine!

Has anyone noticed that this thread has over 15,000 hits? Is there something strange going on (internet-weirdo-wise) , or do the ladies in this DDC really check this thread that much?

My understanding is that a thread only logs the first time you read it. If you click on it 100 times after that, it doesn't register all of those. But, I don't always log in, so I suppose it counts mine each time I read it not logged in.

And there are tons of women on MDC. The UC forum always gets lots of hits, as does anything traumatic sounding. I just think these sorts of threads are more interesting.

"If you keep doing the same things you've always done, you'll keep getting the same results you've always gotten."

DH was really sure I looked like I was carrying lower, though I don't feel like baby has dropped at all. He took a picture yesterday to compare to previous ones. Doesn't look lower to me!

26 weeks 5 days
31 weeks 4 days

Jenifera2- still looking pretty high to me too. Your belly is so perfectly round... Love it!!

mommy2chloerae- That's a beautiful picture!! Love all of the flowers.

Maeryn- Your son looks *just like* my son in that picture!!! It's uncanny! I just showed the pics to my girls and they were like "Why is Jimmy in that picture?". I then showed it to Jimmy and he was quite confused LOL.

Bethany, mama to M (9), J (7), S (4), and baby BOY 9/13/10!!

So, I did some experimenting. If you are not logged in (that is, not a member), or if you are logged in and have already visited a thread, the system does not count when you read a thread.

That means that the count is only for MDC users, and it only counts once per person. So, yeah, 15,606 people have looked at this thread. Wow.

Some places I know of, though, are once per person per time period... such as every 10 minutes, every hour, every 12 hours, every day... something along those lines.

It does not surprise me that a lot of women come in to check out the pregnant bellies. Ladies LOVE looking at pregnant bellies right? Especially the earlier DDCs coming to see what they are about to be.

Ok I've been meaning to put up some new pics for ages... but I was visiting my parents for 2.5 weeks and now my computer is messed up!
But hopefully this link will work. I got some photos done by a photographer that was advertising that she needed maternity models. So it was free, and she does really cool work! They were taken ~32 weeks. I'm ~36 weeks now... I'll update when my computer lets me!

...And when your deepest thoughts are broken,
keep on dreaming boy, cause when you stop dreamin' it's time to die.
