Everyone is pregnant!! It's a long tale, but my employer has been contracted to do all these mandatory trainings for a group of people that must get through by Sept. 18 or they can no longer get a subsidy from the state. So, my co-worker and I have been assigned to cover one big county and we have like 2000 people to train by Sept. 18, our fist training is tomorrow, well.... She is pregnant too!! And due in late August! We work in different offices and I haven't seen her in like three weeks, she called yesterday to say, "well... You'll probably notice and I don't want you to have to wonder what's going on..." to which I said, "Well, I was going to tell you tomorrow, but I'm pregnant too!!" Our supervisors don't know, boy will they love us, no one to cover the last month of trainings... Yikes!! We are going to be some pair this summer waddling all super preggo and trying to run these trainings!!

In other news, my appetite is TOTALLY back in full force!! I'm starving and eating everything in sight!! I ate pizza, McDonald's, AND Burger King, THIS WEEK!! I will totally gain 50lbs again at this rate, even if I didn't gain any in the first trimester!

sleepytime.gifC.- WOHM, CPST Instructor, and all around busy Mama to  blowkiss.gifA.- 02/04, bouncy.gif I. 01/07,babyf.gifE. 09/10 and

Oh so that's round ligament pain is,yeah I've felt that then. Sometimes I feel like you're all talking in code and I have no clue. I feel like I'm 14 and pregnant and not 34 b/c I'm finding that I really don't know much about being pregnant at all. There's a lot to learn think. But from what I've been reading here it's pretty normal to be clueless in your first pregnancy. lol

I used to always reach to cover my mouth and nose when I sneeze or cough and now guess what I do? I reach down and hold my belly! lol

Luckily I've only had the heartburn a few times,I mainly have nausea. I do whine about the sore boobies though. I really do....at night when I try and get comfy they touch the bed and I do wince out loud and have to move them with my hands to where I want them to rest.

The real fun is when you start peeing every time you sneeze.

I swear I'm going to be religious about Kegels this time.

Oh, and my mom is always on me about "what is Emma eating" because she thinks that I am starving my child, so I took some pictures and they are funny:

Breakfast-- egg and cheerios

Lunch-- peas and rice-cake

Dinner-- rice, broccoli, and broiled rockfish (so yum)

A couple thinsg I have read said to just go with the probiotics since it is so hard to find a starter that is actually truly dairy and soy free.
Anyone have good probiotic reccomendations that are free of dairy, wheat, soy, and egg?
I'm already planning my cross border shopping trip specifically for probiotics (but again I have to research brands). The boys' specialist has reccomended that I switch to a specific type (lactobacillus gg) at least by the third trimester as it has been the only one to demonstrate benefit with food issues in utero. Of course its not available in Canada, so I'm off to stock up. It will need to be at least dairy and soy free too as at this point I have resolved to eliminate those as of my third trimester (looking to be a very difficult task at this point). I'll take any reccomendations for those as well!

Kelly....Emma is so cute eating away in the pics!

Amanda....the heartburn has kicked in here too. I think it may be related to the greek and tomato kick I'm on though!

So far I've only had the heartburn one time. That was a horrible night. I still didn't know I was pregnant and had just started the gravol and felt like I could eat soooo....I ordered a veggie lasagna, ceasar salad and garlic bread and it came with Sprite. Let's just say I not only lost my dinner that night, but also my cute little pink garbage can I keep in the bathroom. The my belly and chest felt like it was fire with burning acid!

As far as I know Shamrock Shakes are nationwide... but its only a St. Patrick's Day thing so they aren't available year round. I love March just because I can get my Shamrock Shake!!!

CraftyMcGluestick- did you make donuts? Did they turn out? Can I have your recipe?

Last night I had a bitter disappointment. I was all set to make up my BLT for supper, and discovered (bacon cooked, bread toasted w/mayo, lettuce piled high) that I did NOT have a tomato. Oh, how awful. So, we had bl sandwiches for supper.

Dh was so stir crazy that we went out for pizza for lunch, though, and then tonight we had crepes and smoothies for supper. Not the healthiest, but bursting with flavor, which is what I want right now.

Oops...everybody is back. More later, maybe...

I had a BLT for lunch (thanks, mom!) :

Well, I saw/heard the heartbeat today on u/s. This is only the 2nd time out of 7 pregnancies that I've made it to a live 10 week gestation, so we're not out of the woods until I get my CVS results (mid-March). So I'm not ready for congrats or anything, but at least I know why I'm so sick!

I think I want to try a shamrock shake too, mint seems to really help with nausea lately. I got a few Cadbury eggs, too, but I'm afraid to eat it due to chocolate worsening reflux!

I was really hoping to be able to enjoy my egg I got a few days ago,but I don't think I'm read for it yet. I don't like to unwrap them for a little bite here and there then try and wrap them again,it never works well. All my plastic containers are needing a wash so I won't open it until I have a clean one to out it in. I know I won't be able to eat a while egg right now. I just want to take a bite and let it sit in my mouth a while.

I finally got some maternity pants at a resale shop and am SO happy. They are comfy and I can still wear my regular shirts. I technically can wear my regular pants but I feel like comfort wins and I may as well get my money's worth out of them by wearing them now

OMIGOSH!

Weather.com 10 day outlook has every single day hitting above freezing!

And I just saw like 50 birds in my front yard since Im the only one in my neighborhood with grass exposed thanks to all of the kids trampling my snow when they come to wait for the bus... and don't think that's a complaint! I love love LOVE hearing the birds argue over who gets a worm. Its AWESOME to hear after a winter as horrible as this one has been! Usually our snow melts in between snowstorms but this year we almost constantly had snow on the ground. It melted from 3 feet down to 6 inches but never totally disappeared, then we got hit with another ton of snow.

this means the kids and i can start going for our nightly walks again after the first 40 degree day!

Stay safe!

I am just tired, I've been up since 5am due to the warnings. I headed to the gas station at 7am (with all the other thousands of crazy people) cause I thought I only had a 1/4 tank of gas, but I had 1/2 tank. I decided it would waste more gas waiting in line to fill my tank.

Hoping for you guys that this is just them being overly cautious (much better than not being cautious enough... especially after the history Hilo has)

How scary that kind of weather! I have friends in BC who are getting a little worried about it to.

Things are starting to look up for me and I have a feeling that April will be a good month. Yes,I know that March is next but I don't have a super great feeling about March that's why I said April.

My roommate, who I've been having issues with will leave April 1st! I all ready have a another roommate to fill her room, actually she moves in tomorrow and will take the living room for a month. A little tight, but it will be all right. I'm giving her reduced rent in exchange for.....Spanish lessons!!!

I should have a little "extra" money in April to put on some pass due bills and be able to catch up with them and get back on track with the debt.

Wow...I'll be thinking of you all on the coasts!

Today is baby dd's birthday party. She actually turned one last Wednesday, but dh wasn't supposed to open his eyes then, lol. So, we're just doing a little family thing today. She has always loved bathtime, so I made her a bathtub cake. http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/just...b-cake-686541/ I can't wait to watch her be excited tonight. She has this adorable smile that just lights up when she's happy. And she's almost always happy.

I keep feeling what is probably the baby, but I just keep assuming it isn't. It was funny because I was bothered that I wasn't feeling it, then I realized I just wasn't paying attention. Now I'm feeling things that don't require me to pay attention! And I have a belly. I've been ignoring that, too, but it's there. And it's ALL belly. I already look like I have a soccer ball in there. Nice and compact. But, I've not gained anything to speak of (the same 5 pounds or so keep going up and down), and if anything, the "extras" from my last baby are reorganizing themselves in my belly. That's a good thing, I guess.

The tub cake is super cute! I love it!

I'm still not sure that I'm pregnant. I mean, yes I am but I don't really believe it. I don't think I will until March 12th and I see the doctor and she "confirms" it for me.

I do have a little belly it's pretty cute, but most people would probably think it's just my normal belly fat.

Today I felt the baby (with my hands,no kicks yet ) and it seemed to be more to the right side, last week it seemed more to the left. That's normal right? I also seem smaller then I felt a few days ago or even earlier today. That might be b/c I had to use the bathroom and had bloating. Is that what happens sometimes?

I sometimes feel like a clueless and pregnant 14 year old and I really want some mashed potatoes right now and have none. I may have to settle for some perogies and cranberry sauce.

today was a decent day.

I took extra Zofran and had B-6 plus unisom the past 3 days.

last night I felt good so I gave Dh the go-ahead for a Sea World visit today (1st day of the season, we got 2yr passes gifted to us last yr).

I managed an entire day out with the fam, even at a restaurant with only ONE fit of gagging, ONE bile in the mouth, NO out right vomiting and and andAND!!!!! I ate a meal! an ACTUAL meal! like enough to reasonably nourish a full grown woman of my height adn weight.

this is first for me in over 3 weeks, and is not something that I can normally accomplish before preggo week 28+.

Now we are home, Dh ordered chinese for dinner, and I can't stomach the smell of any of it.
oh well. I had a great afternoon. I can deal with a craptastic evening. thats par for the course.

OH! and we went to target last night and I bought FIVE new pillows. also got to check out some of the newer carseats in person. Glad there are safer choices nowadays below the $200 mark. When I was buying my 1st carseat the only quality choice (imho) was a radian or a britax.
