Ok, every time my baby moves I feel a lot of pressure in my rectum and cervix. This is my third fullterm pregnancy, maybe that is why? I am 37 weeks on Sunday and I really hope to carry at least until 38 and really to 40. Has anyone had this experience where the baby is so uncomfortably low? and for how many weeks days?
I have felt discomfort on my cervix when he moves for a while now, but this full and uncomfortable pressure in my bottom is new.
Thanks mamas!

Yep... I also didn't experience that feeling until baby #3 and I swore I'd have her early because of it. I looked at my pregnancy journal from back then and I was praying to make it to 37 weeks to have my homebirth.... little did I know she'd be hanging out pressing on my cervix like that until 41 weeks! This little guy has just started doing that too now. TONS of pressure down in that area. Yesterday I swore it felt like I was walking around with a head between my legs.

I dont know if it has to do with how many babies you've had... but i had that with ds2.. it was pretty bad.. i'm so sorry this time i'll get it for a day or so and then not the next day? she must be popping in and out of engagement! i dont know... but it's painful none the less! sorry you are going through that!

Thanks mamas, that is reassuring and comforting. It is painful at times and causing me to have some diarrhea, but I can handle anything for a few more weeks. Time to get out with the boys, hope I can keep up with them.

Had this with #3. All my babies came at 39 weeks, so I don't think it predicted anything. In fact, the evening before she was born, I felt no different.

Oh, yay.
I'm having kind of the same thing with #2. Every bathroom break, it feels like I have to poo, and combine that with some BH and I've been wondering if baby is coming.
But nope. Looks like I get to have some diarrhea and crazy gas too, hopefully not for too much longer!

When I am really tired, my muscles just seem to be really lax and the baby will be very, very low. Not really engaged, just not supported, if that makes sense. After I get rested up, it moves back up, or, rather, the muscles tighten again.
