OUCH! I've had that several times over nursing 3 kids and can still "feel" it. Hope it clears up for you quickly so you can enjoy nursing your sweet little one again)

So so sorry! Are you running a fever? I had it once with DS and managed to just now nip it in the bud with dd after about 24 hours of hell. Rest and take care of the milk wagons my dear!

mastitis is the worst! Glad you caught it early... before your fever skyrocketed. I've BTDT and a couple times it's made me sick for a few days (like in bed sick!)

Oh, big bummer! Plugged ducts are bad enough, I can't even imagine mastitis. Get well soon, MP!

That's awful. I hate mastitis. Are taking antibiotics? I'm not a big antibiotics person, but it's the only thing that takes care of it for me. And I think there is nothing else that has ever made me feel as miserable; worse than childbirth really. I remember being curled up on my bed crying in a fetal position last time; it just gets so bad so quickly!!

My brain is so fried. Temp is down to 101.2 last I checked... but I still hurt...

I just called my family doc about mastitis. I've had a plugged duct for two days and it's tipped into mastitis. And of course, we aren't at home. DH (for work) had a week out of town about two hours away and we decided to let DD skip school and go for Tuesday/Wednesday nights. I'm all fevery, chills, nausea... ugh... Doc phoned in a script.
