Okay, I POAS again this morning. FRER...I'm still afraid of the digi tests but I have one in the drawer...maybe by this weekend if all is still going well...

Anyhow, here are the pics from this morning:

http://canyouseealine.com/view_home_...fm?testID=5566
http://canyouseealine.com/view_home_...fm?testID=5565

I can see it IRL, but it still seems soooooo faint to me! I mean, it might be a little darker than yesterday, but still really faint. I think it's making me nervous because last time, it was pretty dark by 11dpo. This time I don't think implantation happened until 9dpo (from spotting that day), so maybe a really faint line is still fine at 13dpo.

Thoughts and good wishes please?!?!

Silly question: what color was the wrapper on your FRER? If it was pink, I'd go get a different brand or just take the digital. Lots of complaints about the FRERs with pink wrappers, one of which is that the lines are super faint when they should be darker. and for you!

It has the pink foil... I also took an Answer Early Result with similar results. I am SO afraid of the digitals. I would hate to see "Not Pregnant", IYKWIM.

What do you think? I need a pep talk or something...

Peeking in from the April DDC...

My FRER tests were very faint like that at first also. The first one I took was so faint that I took a digital test with SMU because I couldn't help myself, and it popped up saying pregnant! It was a Clear Blue Easy digital.

I'd say a line is a line and regardless of how dark it is, you're pregnant! If implantation was only 4 days ago, a faint line is definitely to be expected. And, FWIW, I don't think that line is especially faint for 13 dpo. I didn't start to get really bold lines on a FRER (white foil) with my last pg until 16 dpo. I also never take a digital until 18 dpo because I'm also afraid of seeing Not Pregnant. I like ICs because I don't feel guilty for using them early and often, they have been really reliable for me, and a negative is not such a slap in the face as with a digital.

I took a FRER frist and got a super super faint positive. Then I took two more generic brand somethings and got super faint positives. In facct, dh wouldn't believe me, so I took a digital and BAM! To me...a line is a line is a line. Pee on the digital!

CONGRATS, mama!

Just was going to say that a HPT doesn't tell you HOW pregnant you are, just that you are. But I guess it's all a moot point now, huh???

Yay!!!

Thanks, Linsday It's just so much easier to believe when DH isn't squinting at the test saying "are you *sure* it's positive if it's so faint?"

I had bloodwork done yesterday, but I don't have an order for a second hcg test...must call in this morning to ask whether she wants to recheck that. Prometrium (progesterone) now on board, so I've stopped temping (now THAT'S weird -- not reaching for the thermometer first thing in the morning!).

Oh, and I hereby swear off the pink foil FRERs. They aren't nearly as good as the old white foil ones!

Well first, you can totally swear them off, because you don't need to be taking any more!

And I dunno, my pink foil FRER was pretty dark... but I am pretty sure I implanted at 4 or 5 dpo, based on my 11dpo HCG #. But who knows.

We no longer have to pee on stick if we choose not to! Woohooooooo!

(Although I still have one digi left and would love to just see a couple more dark lines for fun... since I've stared and squinted at stark white for so long!).

Woohoo!

No question there!

My FRER tests didn't darken up for about 5 days (first test at CD25).
