YOU GUYS, OMG.

They just called back w/ my follow up beta.

11dpo - 47
15dpo - 304!!!

OMG, that's a doubling time of 25.99 hours. The median doubling time for a beta range of 32-64 for twin pregnancies (according to betabase.info) is 29.86. Mine's faster than that.

The median beta for twin pregnancies at 15 dpo is 266. Mine's 38 mIUs higher than that.

Ho. Li. Shit.

It doesn't necessarily mean anything, right???

I'm probably freaking out about nothing, but I was hoping for 180. Hearing 304 is SHOCKING.

Other than the shock of the high number, I'm totally jumping for joy. I'm just happy that there appears to be (at least) one healthy poppy seed in there!

It doesn't necessarily mean a thing. However, combined with your chart, I wouldn't be surprised. I've been thinking you might have twins in there for a while now

Congratulations! I hope to get back results half as good as yours early next week.

Lol. No, it said that to begin with... before I got my BFP, actually!

Sorry! I meant with those super-high temps and such an early + digi, I wouldn't be surprised.

Just got my beta results from this Monday back. On Monday the 18th I was at 210 and on this Monday, 4198. That's a doubling of 38.8. (Just thought you might like a comparison )

Will they do another draw or is that it for you?

Ooooh Lindsay that's great news! And WOAH on the possible twin front! We'll be holding our collective breath for awhile...are you having an early u/s around 6ish weeks?

I had my second draw today, but I don't have my results from Monday's draw yet because they did some huge panel and forgot to put a rush on it. I'll have today's numbers tomorrow at my appointment, but I won't have anything to compare them to until next Monday or Tuesday (unless I can convince someone to do another stat draw on Friday...probably overkill...hrm...).

DD March 2007...happily nursing, EC graduated, family-bed-sharing family... expecting another in early November!

calihannah - ugh, sorry they don't have your first beta results back yet! it's a nice high number.

prettyuglybefore - Thanks for the comparison, and for nice high numbers for you, mama!

AFM - they didn't suggest another draw, and I don't think we're going to do an ultra-early u/s. I've got an appointment w/ the potential m/w at 6w2d, and my first "official" prenatal visit w/ the OB who's probably getting the can (from me) at 8w3d. I dunno if either of those involves an u/s... I guess I should ask. Lol.

At this point, we're feeling confident and just going w/ the flow. I guess it's still unlikely there's two in there, even w/ fast doubling time, but if there were two I would be totally thrilled (albeit nervous, duh.) We'd figure a way to make it work.

It's too early for pregnancy brain, I'm sure, but maybe I just got caught up in all the excitement. My doubling time is actually 34.9, which is still nice and quick, but isn't as extreme as I first thought. Apparently I'm unable to count days.
