So I've been feeling really icky & picky & tired lately... until three days ago, when it was like a total life altering event! The clouds & fog lifted, I felt like a million bucks... I cleaned house, didn't need to nap, ate much more normally, etc...
Then I talked to a friend and she had felt the same way... three days before she miscarried.
I got scared...
Went in yesterday to get my HCG levels, just in case (and will go in again on Saturday for a comparison lab).

I'm supposed to be 8-9wks. The NP told me this morning my levels were 86597. She *said* that is 5-7 wks pregnant. (?!) 5 weeks ago I was finding out I was pregnant!
Input, please!!! :-/
From researching online, the # seems fine... (I was even hoping for twins...) ... but I'm confused.

Today I feel icky and tired again, so ironically, that is a relief.

I guess I'll have to wait til Monday to get Saturday's lab results & compare. But any input or 2 cents would be MUCH appreciated. :-)

Thank you ladies!

I had a sudden stop in my symptoms, too. Honestly, it could go either way, and I'm just waiting it out. You've made the first step of getting your HCG tested, so tomorrow you get the second pull, right? Did you have your levels tested before? If not, your individual levels might be different from other people's. Those guildelines are just guidelines, not set in stone.

To sum up, try to relax! Just because you had a few days respite from the nastiness doesn't mean its not coming back!!

To make you feel better...I had my HCG and progesterone levels tested two days ago and again today. I haven't gotten today's results back yet...however...two days ago they told me my results: HCG - 5000, progesterone, 5. I thought both numbers should be a lot higher, however, they said honestly the 5000 hcg was not a concern because there is such a range of normal. The progesterone was low so now I'm on progesterone pills.

I went in yesterday and everything looks great. There was a heartbeat nice and strong at 114bpm!

With your numbers, I really would not worry. Also, just cuz you think you ovulated at a certain time doesn't mean conception occurred then! Just keep that in mind!!!

There is a wide range of normal for hcg what is important is that they increase. Yours is definitely in the normal range for now.

The range for 7-8 weeks is 7,650-229,000 mIU/ml and for 9-12 it's 25,700-288,000 mIU/ml.
So your numbers are just fine! It's normal to have symptoms come and go.

Huh! I guess I "knew" this, I just didn't KNOW it! ... with my first pregnancy I barely felt sick at all, just super hungry and tired (which eased up at nine weeks). That's consoling to see in black and white, that symptoms can come and go.

Thank you everyone for all your kind reassurances ... will let you know Monday's outcome!
