Cherry, how exciting!!!

I'm dying for our u/s next Thursday - seems like it's taking FOREVER to get here.

Today I've actually been feeling the baby move quite a bit, which is so nice. It's still very, very light, but no doubt baby. Very reassuring to know *something* is going on in there!

I just saw BB's post first and thought you meant your UNBORN baby and I was like "OMG osteogenisis imperfecta!" I watch too many medical shows.

Hope your little one is healed up soon!

whoops. Should have said my big girl..she's not really my baby anymore...

Her Dada was swinging her around and when he put her down she landed funny. Poor guy feels terrible. Its only a tiny green stick fracture but she goes into a fibreglass cast next week for 2 -3 weeks.

I thought the same thing - I was getting so curious as to how a baby breaks an arm in utero!!

So sorry for your dd AND your dh.

CherryBomb - can't wait to hear your results today!!! Yea!!!

Yay for everyone who's feeling movement and finding out sex! An exciting week for a lot of people!

Melly - Oh no! Poor girl! She does look in good spirits, though.

SunChild - thanks so much for that link!

Butterfly - congrats on your 1,000th post!

Cherry - GL at today's u/s! Be sure to fill us in!

AFM - More than halfway there!!! I'm psyched to be past the halfway point, and to be looking and feeling really pregnant. I have been feeling kicks and movement regularly now for a couple of weeks, and just last week started feeling movement from THE OUTSIDE! That was totally wild, and it's only happened a handful of times, but i LOVE it! I can't wait for DP to feel a good strong kick. She felt a tiny one yesterday evening, but the strong ones are the really amazing ones!

I'm feeling pretty great aside from some minor back discomfort... I really can't complain, and feel that this pregnancy has been going really easily so far (knock on wood). I hope it continues!

Also, I'm really starting to grow now. Here's a collage of pics from weeks 9, 16, and 20 in the same shirt to show growth. Oh, and for fun, a backlit self-portrait from the hotel in Memphis (for a work trip) last week. I couldn't resist; the light was perfect! Lol.

Oh, what else? Well, DP threw me a birthday party on Saturday (mine was Friday) and it was the most fun I've had socializing without drinking (when everyone else was) since getting pregnant. It was just so good to be surrounded by close friends and family. Plus, people brought some cute gifts for the baby. A sock monkey hat and booties set were my favorite!

I guess that's pretty much it for now. I've not been super active on the boards lately, but it's mostly because (like Papa) my pregnancy has been pretty uneventful!

Part hippie-chick, part type-A career woman, all mama. Enjoying life as a wife to my partner of 11 years, and a mama to our smarty-pants toddler, Cadence.
