I swear I get past pregnancy amnesia because this is my 3rd baby but I never seem to remember if I had similar symptoms with my other pregnancies!

I'm 25 weeks and my belly feels tight all the time. It's not rock hard like it's contracting, but from the inside it's like I can almost feel it growing...a tight, pulling/stretched out feeling. Anyone else experiencing this? I sometimes get cramping in my lower belly too.....

Super crunchy Mama to DS1, DS2, DD and wanting a bunch more!  We homeschool, bed share, homebirth and baby wear. We're attached, we only cloth diaper and we don't vax. There's a lot more to us than that, but it won't all fit.

Not sure if this is TMI, or if this is what you're talking about, but I had that feeling a couple weeks ago like crazy, but it was really due to some constipation and bloating and being stuffed full of too much food constantly by my MIL. My system has kind of sorted itself out now (well, I still get uncomfortable bloating sometimes after meals), and I no longer feel so stretched out and huge and tight and whale-like. I find I have to eat way less food at a sitting these days, because my stomach is squished and tiny by the giant uterus, and I get uncomfortably full really quickly.

I've been feeling tight and stretched, too. Most evenings my midback aches because I feel like there is no more room in my body. Lots of BH and round ligament cramping, too.

I found it helps to hang out on all fours when possible.

Not sure if this is the same thing, but for my first two babies, my belly was so tight that I literally knocked over little 5th graders (I was a teacher).
I had poorly positioned babies each time.

THis time I am getting the Webster technique and my belly is much more fluid and squishy. When I start to feel some soreness/tightness/ligament pain/tightness when walking - I know it is time to see the chiro and it totally goes away.

Not sure if this describes what you are going through, but just wanted to share.

My belly was so tight that when I was in labor, my mw couldn't tell when I was having a contraction or not. It just was always hard.

Children deserve the respect of puzzling it out.

Thank you for the reponses! All fours definitely helps! I told my DH today that I feel like I just need to hang to suspend my belly. I put my arms around his neck and leaned all my weight on him (this is my favorite way to reduce pain during labor too) and it helped! I guess I'm really far enough along now that I need to be doing more pelvic rocks and giving my body a break! It's so nice to have a DDC and be able to get advice from others who are right near where I am (26 weeks and 5 days).

I feel this, too. I don't know if it's from bloating/gas or the baby or both but it is really annoying!

All fours is the best for this.
