Who else is having them? I've been having them from early on, but they have been much, much stronger the past week. A lot stronger than I ever had with DD. They actually take my breath away. I find myself automatically start to stiffen and brace my whole body when one starts, so it's good practise to relax and let go.

And when they happen with a full bladder, I almost wet myself!!!!!

Me, tons of them for about four weeks now (I'm 31 1/2 weeks). So much so that I really have to stay off my feet, especially when it gets too warm. I've been taking 3x the recommended dosage of calcium each day (plus the magenesium/zinc/Vit D) that's in my compounds, and that's the only thing that keeps me from panicking and wanting to run back and forth to L & D... I haven't been yet, just several calls to the midwives, but I find it a bit unsettling and do what I can to keep them at bay. Not fun, and much earlier and stronger than I had with my son a few years ago!

well what I thought was more intense BH contracts turned out to be the real deal but not making my cervix change in any way THANK GOD. But I am on bedrest for a variety of reasons , one of them being these darn contracts. They started about a month ago, and have just been getting progessivly worse and longer and harder and and and
I have to stay off my feet, keep my bladder completly empty, because if it starts to fill they come on full force. I have to have a glass of water with me at all times, if I go longer then an hour without water they start. I cant eat anything that will give me indigestion...if I do...you guessed it...in come the contracts. I get even a wee bit stressed about anything...enter contracts stage left...I am pretty much living in a bubble trying to keep that at bay..lol
oh well shes still cookin and we have another week jsut about under our belts.

I do get them on occasion. So far it's only ever one at a time, and if I don't feel my belly during one, I wouldn't even know it's happening. The first one I ever noticed was due to an orgasm. Another was due to me running to catch up with dh in a store. I feel bad for baby when I have one because I'm afraid s/he's getting squished in there!

I've been getting them since the first trimester with this one although I think I had more during the third trimester with Alice... I'm drinking more RRL tea this time though?

I got them during my first pregnancy but nothing like this. This time they started early, like at about 12 or 13 weeks, and are much stronger and longer. It's a little nerve-wracking and I notice that they're triggered by too much exertion or any kind of stress. Kind of a good reminder to relax and go easy on myself right now, I suppose.

Drinking a lot of water keeps them at bay but also ensures that I have to be within steps of a bathroom most of the time. Sigh.

Man, I had a nasty one a little bit ago! Like gripping the kitchen counter and doing labor breathing painful! I was worried for a minute I've only had one more (much more mild) in 45 minutes, so.
