So... I THINK we have a name.. well, we definitely have a first name because DH is totally set on it but I can't decide if I love the middle name we have going right now... Our 2 older boys are Trevor Riley P****** and Trenton Ryan P******. I think this one is going to be Travis Reid? What do you guys think?

Travis Reed is awesome.

Notice I did change the spelling slightly to make it easier for folks to spell correctly.

I love it. My son's name is Traver. I wanted Travis and her dad wanted Trevor so we mixed the two together. I also love the name Reid, but would also spell it Reed. (That's how my uncle spells it).

I like Travis Reid a lot! I also prefer the Reed spelling, but only because I speak some German and in German the "ei" combination is always pronounced like "eye", not "ee", so that spelling always throws me off for a second. I also like the more obvious nature reference with Reed. However, Reid is a traditional, classic spelling of the name, and I think it is quite attractive, so I'd say it's a winner either way.

I love it. Keep it Reid. I like it for personal reasons. My brother's name was Phillip Reid and he was killed in Iraq 2 years ago. We're going to use Phillip as a middle name someday if we have a boy, but his widow used Reid as his son's middle name so we weren't going to steal that one. So, personally, I love it!

My maiden name is a German "ei" name and it was always mispronounced, however, I think Reid is common enough it should be a problem! I like it!
