we have 90% settled on the name Madison (it's not as common in the UK as it is in the states, though it's sure to "trend" as soon as DD is born lol)

surname is Smith, THE most plain surname ever so i want something beautiful but im stuck...

all i can think of is Madison Mae Smith but something doesnt quite sound right there

plus IDK if im cool with her being called Madi-Mae...yeah im one of "those"mothers who likes her kids names to be pronounced in full

hehe i get in a total stress when people call corban "corby" ARGH NOT HIS NAME lol

i like names like roxanne, erica, ruby, scarlett, saffron, kari, lillith etc but NOTHING feels perfect *sigh*

heartbeat.gifmy DH DS (5) angel1.gifx2... rainbow1284.gif DD 8th oct!! 9lb 5oz  Madison Akina-Mae - i wear her, feed her, co-sleep and hold her just about every minute of the day DS is my little scientist and the most loving person i ever did meet.  I'm lucky and I know it

It seems like 1 syllable or 3+ syllable names would fit best.

i like madison rose

can any of you think of a name/word in any language that means "tie" or connect/unify/bind/bond etc

as DH and DS aren't genetically related to each other so DD genetically connects us all, as we are all related to her

racked my brains for months but yeah, im rubbish....

mcimom it's corban raymond-james charter, family-tradition to use those names for our boys. dont have any family names for females though lol

Madison Bryanna?

I honestly really like Madison Mae. Mae is one of my favorite names but it sounds horibble with our last name and we do J names for middle names.

Rebekkah is to tie or bind...that sounds good with Madison and your last name and it's an R initial like Corban's.

Im leaning heavily towards Madison Akina-Mae Smith

pretty sure she'll still get called Madi Mae which is fine, but i just love the idea of having some form of bond/unity in there

go Melly!
