Anyone else have this? I'm 34 weeks and had horrible boob sensitivity in the first trimester, then they were fine and now they hurt again. I'm wondering if I could already have blocked duct issues or something, because they seem to be more centered around certain spots rather than just generalized soreness...

Of course, knowing what these ladies are gearing up to do, some amount of discomfort makes sense... but is this normal?

DDCC - I'm due in early december but I've been having the same thing since about the time I started making colostrum. It wasn't severe in the first tri so I guess this is karma.

This Mommy and Military Daddy are loving their son.

I just noticed that mine are sore again too. I'm 37 weeks and it started about 10 days ago. DS, who weaned himself about six months ago, is also newly interested. Not in nursing, though I've offered, but in grabbing and pinching them! They don't look any different to me but I wonder if he's picking up in some change in smell.

Happy mumma to my boys Henny Tom (Nov 30, 2008), Arlo Odie (Oct 5, 2010), and baby SISTER! due mid-Dec 2014.

Yes! My breasts have been super tender for the last couple of months, and my nipples feel frozen.

Yes, my breasts have gotten tender again and sometimes just feel achy, sore and full. I've been able to express colostrum for a few months now, so I don't think it's related to that. I'm assuming they are just gearing up to make milk after delivery.
