I am not due til the 20th, so pray I don't go into labor in the next week or so, because that would mean a C-section instead of a peaceful homebirth.

With my 2nd birth I had them on my due date. I used cream and the dr induced me at 7 days after outbreak, my dd was fine.

with my last one it was six days since the outbreak and they would have let me deliver him but he had some distress. and I had a c-section

with this one I am going to be taking meds from 36 weeks on. it was a decision I have made knowing that I DO NOT want another c-section. Have you tried the acylovier cream? vinegar baths help me.
I hope it all works out for you!

Yes I have been on suppressive for a few weeks now, doesn't matter apparantly! Hopefully this is it and I am outbreak free for delivery.

Amila I'm so sorry! I'm also due on the 20th I tend to believe that your body "knows" and holds the baby in when there is a need to... Trust and believe that the baby will come at the perfect time, when the outbreak has cleared and you will have the homebirth you want and deserve!

Super crunchy Mama to DS1, DS2, DD and wanting a bunch more!  We homeschool, bed share, homebirth and baby wear. We're attached, we only cloth diaper and we don't vax. There's a lot more to us than that, but it won't all fit.

You are really lucky that you know you have it. My SIL had a primary outbreak near/during labour and didn't know about it.
