Yes, it does mean that its getting closer. Mine will go on for a few days and then stop for a few days. I'm hoping that my body will kick into gear soon. I'm so ready. Almost tiring out from being pregnant. Lol.

Count me in too. This stinks! I am only 39 weeks, but still! I keep thinking "this is it" then it all stops. Argh!

I really thought last night was the night--my contractions were intense, radiating from my back and top of my abdomen, and even got sort of regularly spaced together. I'm 39 weeks today and was stoked to maybe not have to go to 41+ weeks again. But I woke up this morning feeling very much not-in-labor...as usual.

Maddening.

Still contracting away over here! But I'm done work now so at least I can do it peacefully at home now.

I swear I'm getting so used to ignoring contractions that unless my water breaks first, we're going have a "OMG, we have to go NOW!" moment when it finally is time.

Congratulations October Mama!

I'm still here. Have not had a single contraction since 10/14 though. Oh well!

I am so in this club right now. It's very reassuring to know that all this stuff can go on for days before anything happens.

I'm in... having lots of contractions here and there but nothing that goes anywhere. Last night I was up, sweating, between 2-3am with major cramping and then finally got back to sleep to find nothing happening today, again. I'm 39 weeks but racing against the C-section clock (Nov. 2).

There's me, DH, and the little guy (8/05). Expecting another little one 10/10! Hoping for a .

So last night was SOOO frustrating. I had three hours of contrations that I had to breath through starting at 9mins apart and ending up at 7mins apart, then they just disappeared.

Ashley R, I can totally relate. Had 8 hours of mild contractions (did require some breathing) on Saturday, about 15 mins apart, and then...nothing. Baby has moved down into position though. I woke up Sunday morning with my belly totally moved down.
No other signs. And baby is still moving around in general. I just keep talking to her letting her know I'm ready!
