Finnegan James Ronald was born via c/s October 12 at 10:21pm. 7lbs 10ozs and 19 1/4 inches long. Still not sure why he wouldn't come down...he actually moved UP some (-1 to -2), even though my ctx were strong and coming about 2.5 minutes apart for 4 hours. He did have a true knot in his cord (which I wasn't surprised about since he had been having post ctx decels) and a largish head (14.5 cm). I apparently have a lot of really bad scarring from my first 2 c/s and the ectopic repair surgery, it took them quite awhile to get the whole surgery done. My lower uterine segment is apparently "paper thin" too. He swallowed a bunch of crud so his 1 min apgar was 3 and it took him a few minutes to start crying, but once they got him cleaned out his 5 minute was a 9. It took about 2.5 hours after he was born until I got to hold him, which isn't that bad considering the surgery took about an hour and a half due to all my scarring. Thankfully he was still alert and nursed great and then slept for a good three hours! He's nursing well and I'm not in too much pain. I'll post some pics later!
