I am wondering if you see another child joining our family this year?

Thanks,

That is very disappointing. We have been on an adoption list for a year, and were hoping 2010 was the year

Although your question was worded well, for some reason I tuned into whether there would be a pregnancy, resulting in a child. I was clearly seeing no pregnancy or children from pregnancy. I apologize for not tapping into the question correctly, but I get so many questions about pregnancy I immediately went to that. It happens sometimes.
Adoption is a whole other ballgame.
I am seeing a child joining you through adoption, but I have to say that it actually feels like foster care first. There is something about a newborn coming to me, it feels like that is what you are hoping for, but I also feel that you are receptive to an older baby/child as well. I think eventually a toddler age child will be placed with you. It feels very near the end of the year.
The foster thing is a little fuzzy for me. It just has a feeling behind it of having potential, but not a for sure positive that it has to happen that way.

*I would like to add here, that I am not responding to you b/c you were sad about my answer. Although I don't like making people sad, that is sometimes what happens in my business. However, I am responding to you specifically b/c I remember very distinctly what I had tapped into in regards to your question. And when I got your response and it said adoption, I was like "whoa, I didn't look into the right thing at all!" I wanted to be fair and give you a correct answer. *

Thank you for your response. I am sorry I did not phrase the question correctly the first time. That is interesting about foster care. We have been foster parents in the past, but are not currently.....but have talked about going that route. You are correct that my heart is hoping for a newborn....but our whole family is open to an older child.
